| Headsets are one of the most popular daily products in young people.Compared with other types of headphones, they have the advantages of good sound quality, good sound insulation, and strong sense of design. However, due to their large size, the area that in contact with the human body.have been also increased, and comfort problems are followed one after another. With the people’s ever-increasing needs for a better life, people’s requirements for industrial products no longer remain at the level of pursuing functions only.People pay more attention to whether the products are comfortable to use, especially wearable devices, because they directly interact with human body during use, wearing comfort issues become more and more sensitive. Therefore, wearing comfort becomes an indispensable factor in product design.Through deep interviews, this article deeply digs into the comfort issues of users in the process of using headsets, and finds that Internet cafe consumers experience more discomfort. In this regard,a relevant questionnaire was designed to investigate the group. It was found that when using the headphones provided by Internet cafes, more than 92%of the discomfort was concentrated on the auricle and the surrounding head surface. The clamping force applied to this area was mainly the deformation of the head beam of the headphone. The clamping force exerted by the headset band deformation is applied to the auricle area.Different auricle shapes and head sizes will produce different contact pressure distributions.Preessure testing of headset and earmuffs is commonly used in the industry for flat plate pressure testing.Through the pressure distribution test,it is found that when the earmuff acts on the curved surface of the head, the local pressure in the stress concentration area generated is 6-50 times that of the earmuff when the earmuff acts on the tablet. That is one of the main reasons that people would obviously feel the clamping force when using headset.By observing the pressure film,it is found that the clamping force is mainly distributed on the up-ear area and front-ear area when the user wears the earphone.Through quantitative research, the distribution characteristics of the clamping force are related to the subject’s zygomatic mandibular width index and head-face width.Index correlation.Based on the shape of the earmuffs of the existing headsets, the size of the earmuffs and the characteristic points of the human ear,the contact area between the earmuff and the head is defined, and on this basis, the contact area of 42 three-dimensional head models is extracted, unify the type value point composition, and finally obtain the average contact area surface, which provides a reference for the shape design of earmuffs. Finally, the earmuff shape design was carried out according to the average characteristic curved surface, and other relevant parameters of the earmuff were determined. For the comfort evaluation of the designed earmuffs, subjective and objective verification was carried out through the comfort scale and pressure distribution test, and the results showed that the design was improved. The earmuffs are more effective in terms of average stress distribution, reducing stress concentration areas and improving comfort. |
