After the expressway enters the overhaul stage,the treatment of waste asphalt mixture is a knotty problem.Under the guidance of the concept of green sustainable development,the recycling of waste asphalt mixture is the current research hotspot.Many scholars actively use bio-oil,edible oil waste,machine oil waste to regenerate the aging asphalt,hoping to restore the road performance of aged asphalt.Under this background,the regeneration effect of reversed furfural extracted oil on asphalt with different aging degrees was studied.70 grade Shell asphalt was used to simulate aging in laboratory,and three different degrees of aging asphalt were obtained.Then three kinds of furfural extracted oil were added to each kind of aging asphalt to prepare recycled asphalt.The regeneration effect and mechanism of furfural extracted oil on different degrees of aging asphalt were studied.The main conclusions obtained are as follows:(1)With the increase of furfural extracted oil content,the penetration,ductility,and viscosity of aged asphalt increase,while the softening point decreases.Through the three indexes and viscosity,the best content range of furfural extract oil can be determined.Through the viscosity temperature curve,the best construction temperature of recycled asphalt can be determined.According to the standard,the aging resistance of recycled asphalt was analyzed.It is suggested to use the residual penetration ratio and the softening point difference to measure the aging resistance of recycled asphalt.(2)The rheological test results show that the high temperature performance of aged asphalt will be weakened gradually with the increase of furfural extracted oil content,but the fatigue resistance and low temperature performance of aged asphalt will be enhanced.The high temperature performance and low temperature performance of the best recycled asphalt are better than that of the base asphalt.In addition to the best light recycled asphalt,the fatigue resistance of other best recycled asphalt is also better than that of the base asphalt.(3)Based on penetration and PG classification system,the temperature sensitivity of recycled asphalt was evaluated.In the high temperature range,with the increase of furfural extracted oil content,the regularity of temperature sensitivity of recycled asphalt was not strong,but in the low temperature range,it has obvious regularity.In addition,in the range of medium high temperature,normal temperature and low temperature,the original base asphalt,the best medium recycled asphalt and the best heavy recycled asphalt have the best temperature sensitivity.(4)Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and Gel Permeation Chromatography(GPC)test results showed that there were few changes in the functional groups of asphalt during aging and regeneration process,as well as increased the contents.The higher the aging degree of asphalt is,the higher the sulfoxide index and carbonyl index are,and the more the macromolecular content is.However,the sulfoxide group,carbonyl group index and macromolecular content of the recycled asphalt has decreased.
