Under the background of educational practice,theory and policy,the 12-year school is the product of comprehensive education reform.At present,the number of 12-year school system in China is increasing year by year,and the form of school is becoming more and more diversified.However,the research on the construction level of 12-year school is still in the preliminary stage.The 12-year schools consists of three divisions: primary school,junior high school and senior high school,and students age span is larger,therefore,how to organize the three division in the layout,how the campus space environment meet the needs of three division students at the same time,these two problems are the key to 12-year school construction,it is the difference between 12-year school and other types of primary and secondary school on planning and design,It is also the main problem of this article.This article is divided into three parts.The first part firstly sorts out the development history of 12-year schools in China,and analyzes the development status of 12-year schools in China.Secondly,summarizes the construction types of 12-year schools,analyzes the composition of 12-year schools,and summarizes the characteristics of 12-year schools.Finally,introduces the typical cases of foreign coherent schools and summarizes their construction methods from the planning level,which lays a theoretical foundation for the discussion of the planning and design of 12-year coherent schools in China.The second part first analyzes the behavior pattern of students and analyzes the similarities and differences of different age groups students’ demands on campus.Secondly,select case samples to conduct field research,record and observe the current situation and use of the layout and space environment.Then analyze the contradiction between the present situation of campus planning and student behavior of the case sample;Finally,put forward to the design objectives which adapt to students’ behavior patterns on planning layout and spatial environment of 12-year school.The third part mainly studies the specific practices of the 12-year campus planning and layout and space environment design goals.First of all,summarizes the combination models of three academic departments,two academic departments,and three academic departments,and analyzes the influence on students’ behavior,and discuss the adaptability of each model to the campus scale.Secondly,analyzes the functional layout of teaching rooms,living service rooms and sports facilities of the department,and analyzes the influence of various layout on students’ equity,so as to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various layout modes.Finally,according to the students’ different needs,communication needs,safety needs and diversified needs,put forward the spatial environment design strategy of 12-year school from four aspects: department space,shared space,spatial interface and overall space.Through the research of this article,it provides reference for the layout and spatial environment design of 12-year schools in China,and provides basic data for the research on the construction of 12-year schools in the future.
