Analysis Of Dong’s Traditional Settlements And Dwellings

Since the eighties of last century,the research of residential buildings in China has been carried out for more than 30 years.Domestic research on settlements and dwellings has established a basic framework.Experts and scholars from all over the country have classified dwellings according to regional,ethnic and other factors,and established a typological framework for the study of dwellings.Since the end of the last century,the research on residential buildings has entered a more refined stage.With the help of Surveying and mapping technology,it is possible to digitize the residential culture.Dong nationality is a minority in Southwest China.Its settlement and residential culture are unique.As a unique national building,Dong village is an important treasure of our country’s residential culture.Its ecological view,space view and aesthetic view are very unique.It has a certain reference and guiding significance for contemporary housing construction,village planning and even urban planning.By selecting typical areas and carrying out extensive and detailed field investigation,combined with in-depth literature and historical data research,the author analyzes the natural and humanistic conditions of Dong architecture from the ecological,spatial and aesthetic perspectives,discusses the spatial structure of Dong architecture,and combs the decoration and color expression of Dong architecture.Through this study,we can think that Dong folk house,as a typical minority folk house,is an important part of Chinese folk house culture.In the long-term labor,the Dong people have formed the ecological architectural view of respecting nature,the open and inclusive space view and the simple and elegant decorative aesthetic view;the Dong settlements and dwellings are the important carriers of the traditional culture of the Dong people,which completely retain and reflect the production and life style of the Dong people;at present,the research on the Dong settlements and dwellings and culture should be based on the establishment of a perfect database At the same time,inheritance and improvement of the existing process.
