Research On The Plan Restoration And Double Court Layout Of The Central Guangdong Gardens In The 19th Century

Central Guangdong gardens have always been a hot research topic,and related researches have instructive significance for regional architectural design practices in Central Guangdong.There are two problems in the current research on gardens in Central Guangdong.One is that the research paradigm of gardens in the south of the Yangtze River is often used,which makes it impossible to highlight the regional characteristics of gardens in Central Guangdong.However,it is obvious that the gardens in Central Guangdong are very different from other local gardens in aesthetic habits.On the other hand,in recent years,t he research on the gardens in Central Guangdong has mostly focused on culture,but has not paid attention to the garden entity.Therefore,this article focuses on the entities of Guangdong Central Gardens,hoping to find the rules that prevail in Central G uangdong Gardens,clarify its characteristics,and guide the practice of regional architectural design in Central Guangdong more effectively.In the past,the research on the characteristics of Central Guangdong gardens was limited to the level of constituent elements,ignoring the organization of elements.It is difficult to clarify the gardening characteristics of Central Guangdong gardens.What this article has to do is to find the organization between elements through analysis of a large number of cases law.The research case of this article has three sources: existing gardens,gardens that do not exist but with surveying and mapping data,and gardens obtained by plane restoration in this study.Through the analysis of the plan of a large number of Guangdong gardens,it is found that the double courtyard layout is common in the Guangdong gardens.In further typological analysis of the layout of the double courtyard,it is found that the central landscape of the double courtyard is regular.One courtyard is centered on architecture or stone scenery,and the other courtyard is centered on a pool;the two courtyards have different attributes :One is functional and the other is aesthetic;in the landscape organization,there are typified combinations of elements in the two courtyards,and there are different images in the two courtyards: in the entity-centered courtyard,the elements There is religious symbolism behind the combination type,and the courtyard centered on the pool creates an empty landscape environment.
