Entering a new era of development,China’s industrial technology is advancing rapidly.In the field of automation,the performance requirements of widely used motors are gradually increasing.The defects of traditional radial motors have gradually become prominent.Research on special motors is in full swing.The axial flux permanent magnet motor is a special motor with a new structure,which has the characteristics of short axial length,superior structure,large output torque and high power density,etc.It has won the favor of many scholars.This paper analyzes and studies the electromagnetic performance and high power density design of the axial flux permanent magnet motor,which is of great significance for in-depth research and wide application.Starting from the basic structure of the motor,this paper analyze the basic topology and working principle of the axial flux permanent magnet motor.The influence of permanent magnets of different structures and shapes on the air gap flux density of the motor will be studied.The stator yokeless structure will be used for motor design analysis.The influence of the stator yoke on the performance of the motor will be explored.In this paper,multi-section expansion is used to establish a two-dimensional approximate analytical model of the motor based on the precise subdomain method.The vector magnetic potential is introduced to establish the equations satisfied by different solution regions.The analytical model is solved by applying boundary conditions,and expressions such as air gap flux density and cogging torque are obtained.FEA will be used to verify the correctness and accuracy of the analytical model built.In the performance analysis process,the influence of the magnetic flux leakage between the poles,the slot magnetic flux and the end magnetic flux leakage on the magnetic density of the motor is fully considered.And use the analysis model to make corrections in the form of calculation coefficients.Combining the structural characteristics of the axial flux motor,Research from the motor’s radial,axial and circumferential structural parameters.Exploring the influence trend of motor structure parameters on output performance and power density based on analytical solutions.The analysis focuses on the influence of different parameters such as stator split ratio and pole arc coefficient.The lightweight research of the rotor yoke from the electromagnetic and mechanical angles has been carried out,and the electromagnetic and mechanical requirements of the motor are met in the form of yoke compensation.The yoke magnetic density,rotor stress,etc.are analyzed by FEA.Finally,a modal analysis is carried out to master the modal characteristics of motors under different structures.
