At present,the development momentum of floating photovoltaic power station is strong in water-rich areas,but it has not been involved in arid and semi-arid areas.The arid and semi-arid areas have distinct climatic characteristics consist of abundant light resources,little precipitation and large evaporation loss.In order to develop the floating photovoltaic system in arid and semi-arid areas according to the local conditions,this paper proposes to combine photovoltaic power generation technology with plain reservoir evaporation prevention and water saving technology to form a new model of floating photovoltaic power generation in arid areas,which integrates "production capacity","water saving" and "salt control".Through the theoretical analysis and field test,the structure and comprehensive benefits of the new model are studied.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The field test results showed that the annual water-saving efficiency of covering 1m2 benzene plate,PVC(polyvinyl chloride)floating plate and PE(polyethylene)floating ball on the water surface was 94.19%,95.20%and 83.41%respectively,according to the new structure of floating photovoltaic power station in arid area.The water-saving efficiency of benzene plate was behind that of PVC floating plate,and the investment recovery period of benzene plate was the shortest.Finally,benzene plate was selected as the anti-evaporation material of the new mode of floating photovoltaic power station in arid area.(2)After the benzene plate completely covered the water surface,the salt content of the water decreased by 27.88%due to the reduction of evaporation.And because the covering of benzene plate blocked sand and dust from falling into the water,covering benzene plate on the water surface also played a role in purifying water quality.(3)The new model of floating photovoltaic power generation in arid areas has better benefits of power generation.In an area where the average annual solar radiation amount is 5943.53 MJ/m2,a floating photovoltaic power station with an installed capacity of 10MW is constructed according to the new model of floating photovoltaic power station in arid areas.The total power generation amount is 306060200 kW·h during the 25-year operation period,and the total annual average power generation is about 12242000 kW·h.(4)The new model of floating photovoltaic power generation in arid areas has better environmental and social benefits.It is planned to save 4774.536 tons of coal every year,and reduce about 12413.79 tons of CO2,about 40.584 tons of SO2,about 35.332 tons of NOx and about 658.89 tons of fly ash.At the same time,the annual environmental value of CO2,SO2,NOx and fly ash is 2.85517 million yuan,2.43504 million yuan,2.82656 million yuan and 0.7907 million yuan.The average annual water-saving amount is 273600 m3.It will also help to improve the energy structure of our country,alleviate the current situation of ecological water shortage in arid and semi-arid areas,improve the living quality of local residents,improve the output of local crops,and promote the economic development in arid and semi-arid areas.
