Application Of Chinese Traditional Gardening Techniques In The Transformation Of Urban Parks

Chinese traditional gardens have a long history.Their gardening techniques are rich and unique,full of brilliant gardening skills and the aesthetic thought of the Chinese nation.However,driven by the rapid economic development and combined with the rapid dissemination of western culture,Chinese gardens seem to be unable to find themselves.In China’s modern urban parks,there are some parks that blindly imitate the external manifestations of traditional gardens,lack the essence of Chinese traditional gardens,are eager for success on the surface,do not deeply study the construction connotation of traditional gardens,and just stay at the expression level of some garden symbols.At the same time,with the changes of the times,the early urban parks are facing many problems,such as lack of function,old facilities,context fault and so on.This paper explores the feasibility of how to apply Chinese traditional gardening techniques to the upgrading and transformation of modern urban parks,so as to combine the excellent and unique traditional gardening techniques with the cutting-edge urban park transformation,which is of great significance to continue the essence of Chinese traditional gardening techniques.This paper focuses on the relevant theories of urban park transformation and traditional garden gardening techniques,summarizes and arranges the relevant research at home and abroad,and obtains the necessity and feasibility of the combination of urban park transformation and traditional garden gardening techniques.On the one hand,it lays the foundation for the humanism,organic renewal,ecological sustainable development,place use evaluation theory and place context theory of urban park transformation;On the other hand,based on the previous research on the gardening techniques of traditional gardens,this paper analyzes many laws of gardening techniques in traditional gardens,roughly divides the gardening techniques of traditional gardens into four parts:specific form,layout relationship,time design and artistic conception construction,and takes them as the starting point to analyze the excellent cases of urban parks established under the guidance of traditional gardening techniques.The summary of gardening techniques confirms the feasibility of gardening techniques in urban park design.Then,based on the theory,this paper puts forward the strategies and methods of urban park reconstruction,so as to provide reference for the reconstruction design of DongChenWuZhai Park in Zhengzhou.Finally,under the theoretical guidance of gardening techniques,taking the reconstruction project of DongChenWuZhai Park in Zhengzhou as an example,combined with the actual situation of the park,this paper makes a multi-layer analysis of the site,puts forward the reconstruction scheme and design general rules,and flexibly applies the Chinese traditional gardening method to the park reconstruction with the help of the relevant contents of gardening techniques,in order to inherit the design essence of Chinese traditional gardens,and to better introduce the gardening method of traditional gardens into the modern garden design.
