In the past,due to technical and economic reasons,many old residential buildings have not been installed with elevators.With the increasingly prominent aging phenomenon in China and the continuous growth of the aging population,the demand of going up and down stairs with elevator for senior citizen become more and more strong.Therefore,the problem of adding elevators to multi-storey residential buildings is a research subject with practical significance.This paper introduces the current situation of adding elevator for existing residential building in domestic and overseas,analyzes the existing residential structure,and demonstrates the feasibility of the design and construction of the multi-storey residential building with elevator.This paper takes the independent research and developed new elevator as the research object,and the specific contents and conclusions are as follows:The first chapter expounds the overall status of adding elevators,contains the design background,current situation of adding elevator for existing residential building in domestic and overseas,social and economic benefits,and also defines organizational framework of this paper,point out the design of elevator shaft frame and key components,so as to maximize the use of shaft.The second chapter mainly puts forward the innovation of the research object,describes in detail the internal and external structural characteristics of the existing residential elevator,the arc type shaft structure solution,the butterfly motor type inorganic room civil layout solution,designs the non-machine room guide rail installation suspension structure and gantry car bottom wheel inclined structure,optimizes the utilization rate of shaft space,The main components and functions of the elevator.With anti-corrosion specification,and the service life is up to 50 years,which build the foundation for the next model test.In the third chapter,established the main performance parameters of the elevator design are determined and the basic configuration calculation method.Based on the basic parameters of the elevator,the selection calculation method of the traction machine is based on the static load of the main shaft,motor power and starting torque.Secondly,the selection calculation method of the number of wire ropes is from the angle of safety factor,rope groove specific pressure and wire rope elongation is established.Finally,the design and calculation method of counterweight device and speed limiter and the theoretical calculation method under emergency braking condition are established.The above calculation provides a theoretical basis for the selection of the basic components of the elevator,and provides a data base for the determination of the basic configuration of the elevator components.In the fourth chapter,according to the research content of the paper,the modeling method of SolidWorks,and the finite element analysis method is introduced.The finite element analysis of machine room assembly,gantry assembly and counterweight rope head assembly is carried out,and calculated the strength and stiffness,the connecting bolts of counterweight rope head assembly.The maximum point of structural stress and deformation is found out,so that optimized measures to meet the safety and stability of the elevator,the design structure to ensure the design strength and shorten the design cycle.The fifth chapter mainly introduces the elevator design,finite element analysis,through the production,assembly,and test tower installation to achieve the normal operation of the elevator.Through the on-site balance coefficient test and elevator stability test and running performance test,the test data and elevator test data are analyzed.The balance coefficient,operation noise and operation comfort of the elevator meet the requirements of design and national standards.The sixth chapter summarizes the main research results of this paper,and prospects the follow-up research and improvement work.
