In the past few decades,my country’s urbanization process has accelerated and bridge engineering has developed rapidly.However,the early-built bridge materials have low strength and poor durability.Under the influence of years of operation and the environment,many old bridges are more or less.Has caused some diseases.Therefore,the strengthening of existing bridges has been highly valued by the international bridge engineering community.Bridge pier is one of the important structures of bridges.In the field of bridge engineering,column pier is a commonly used form of pier column for bridges.It is of great significance to improve and develop existing column pier reinforcement methods.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Summarize the existing pier reinforcement methods,analyze the pros and cons of different reinforcement methods,and propose the possibility of using UHPC with excellent material properties to reinforce the pier.(2)Summarize the relevant UHPC compression/tension constitutive relations at home and abroad,and analyze the relevant parameters.(3)On the basis of ABAQUS finite element analysis,combined with the experimental research of relevant scholars,the axial compression study of concrete columns reinforced by UHPC is analyzed.The effect of different section columns,the influence of different UHPC reinforcement methods and the parameter analysis of different reinforcement thick Ness are analyzed respectively.(4)This paper puts forward the quasi-static load analysis by using the UHPC to wrap the plastic hinge area of the bridge pier,co MPares and analyzes the seismic performance of the reinforced concrete column pier before and after the UHPC reinforcement,and analyzes the variable parameters of the UHPC reinforcement diameter thick Ness,the UHPC reinforcement height,the axial compression ratio and the UHPC reinforcement mode.
