Since the new century,due to the decrease of demographic dividend in manufacturing industry,The mainstream is gradually occupied by intelligent manufacturing represented by industrial robots.RV reducer,as the main component of industrial robots,plays a decisive role in the performance of industrial robots.But at present,China’s high-performance RV reducer is still mainly dependent on imports,and the RV reducer has a complex structure and many components.Therefore,this paper takes the RV-80 E reducer as an example to analyze its structure from multiple angles,and the life of the cycloid support bearing of the weak link link is studied and optimized.(1)Based on the structure and transmission principle of RV reducer,the transmission ratio and transmission torque of the system are derived by using the transformation gear system method.Starting from the forming principle of cycloid wheel,the three-dimensional modeling and virtual prototype of RV reducer are built.The accuracy of the model is verified by dynamic analysis of the built virtual prototype,and the force of the cycloid gear support bearing with the crank shaft angle is obtained by the meshing force between the cycloid gear and the pin tooth after modification.(2)According to the established virtual prototype,the transient dynamic analysis of the main parts of RV reducer,such as cycloid wheel,planetary wheel and bearing,is carried out to obtain the stress distribution and stress concentration position.Then,the modal analysis of the transmission parts with a large range of motion of the crank shaft,cycloid wheel and planetary frame in the reducer is carried out to obtain the natural frequency and maximum displacement,which provides a reference for the structural design.(3)The fatigue life calculation and failure form analysis of the easily-to-failure bearings in RV reducer are carried out,and the influence of RV reducer structural parameters on its life is discussed.Combined with the above analysis results,the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the bearing life.The RV-80 E prototype was experimentally studied.The transmission efficiency,transmission error and torsional stiffness were tested on a special experimental platform for RV reducer,and the main performance parameters were tested.In this paper,starting from the reducer kinematics and combining with computer simulation technology,the relevant research on each structure is carried out.According to the bearing life,the main factors affecting the life of RV reducer are deduced,which has a certain reference for the design of RV reducer structure.
