During the use of the reciprocating compressor,the air valve,piston ring,packing ring and other seals play a key sealing role to ensure the stability of the compressed gas.The degree of wear resistance of the seal determines the amount of leakage and also directly affects the performance of the product.In recent years,people have explored the tribological properties of polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE),polyether ether ketone(PEEK)and their composites,and obtained a lot of research results.However,there are few reports on the different working conditions of reciprocating compressors,but it is very important for the selection of materials.At the same time,there is no systematic in-depth study of the tribological properties of PEEK and PTFE composites from the perspective of load and frequency(speed).This paper will provide detailed theoretical support for the study of the tribological mechanism of reciprocating compressor sealing materials.In the work of oil-free compressors,the most important working condition is dry friction.When the compressed gas is not pure,it will cause the water droplets in the air to be compressed and adhere to the seals,and water lubrication will occur on the cylinder and piston rod.When the compressed gas is H2S,HCL,etc.,corrosive liquid will be formed on the surface of the seal,causing corrosion and wear.When the compressed gas is turbid with some solid impurities,these impurities adhere to the middle of the friction pair to cause sand friction.These are the conditions that are inevitably encountered in the operation of reciprocating compressors.In this thesis,the principle of reciprocating compressor and the sealing parts on the basis of the selection of PEEK/CF,PEEK/GF,PTFE/CF,PTFE/GF four composite materials.The influence of load and frequency on tribological properties of PEEK and PTFE composites under different working conditions was analyzed.The tribological differences of the four kinds of composites were analyzed emphatically,and the wear behavior of the composites was analyzed by the wear morphology of the materials.On this basis,the finite element analysis of the composite material was carried out by ANSYS software.The influences of load and frequency on the wear of composite materials were determined and compared with the experimental results.Through research,this article will give the wear performance of PEEK and PTFE composites under different working conditions for reciprocating compressors.Grasp the tribological properties of each seal under different loads,working media and different frequencies,and the selection method of sealing materials,promote the development of reciprocating compressor seals,and provide help to extend the service life of compressor seals.
