| A smart home is what people call a home that can be setup very convenient,where appliances and devices can be controlled remotely as well as automatically,from any networked device with an internet connection and anywhere.Smart homes can be set up through either wireless with different technology or hardwired systems.Devices in a smart home are interconnected with each other and then,through the network such as internet,allowing end users to control functions and monitor equipment status remotely.In this thesis,the research background of smart home is introduced firstly,including current development status from both home and aboard,the structure of smart home and common modules that are made of a smart home system,some general information about Io T cloud platform as well as its interworking process and application characters.Then some wireless technologies that are widely used in Io T are analyzed,and advantage of using ZigBee in smart home system is highlighted.After that,the concept of ZigBee,its protocol stack and topology are well described,as well as its data transmission,competition mechanism,security mechanism and AES algorithm.By taking smart door lock,temperature and hazardous gas monitoring as an example,the detailed system structure is described,the related hardware electric circuits are designed as well as the needed software code that for sensor data processing,ZigBee terminal and ZigBee coordinator.Taken Raspberry Pi as ZigBee gateway by connecting it with ZigBee coordinator via serial port,the monitoring system is carried out with Home Assistant tool as monitor application.Based on test result,this end to end system that is introduced in this thesis can work well,the communication between ZigBee terminal and ZigBee coordinator is stable,the data transmission is ok,Raspberry Pi as gateway can get the data and send controlling message,which can basically meet the requirements. |
