The arrival of the experience era and the popularization of Internet technology enrich peopl e’s ways of leisure and entertainment.The improvement of living standards urges people to pur sue qualitative changes,and the demand tends to be diversified and compound.Traditional pavil ions can’t adapt to the development of society because of their single functional format,long re newal cycle of themes,and outdated exhibition facilities.These buildings urgently need to be tr ansformed to keep up with the development trend of the times,Become a bright color on the macro interface of the city.Based on this background,the small creative exhibition hall with cr eative characteristics has been put into operation,which has injected more energetic elements in to the construction field of the exhibition hall.Although the development history is only more than ten years,it shows a prosperous trend of "flowers bloom".On the one hand,the small-sca le creative exhibition hall inherits the characteristics of the traditional exhibition hall,and on th e basis of which the exhibition mode is more rich and creative,so that the exhibition mode is more in line with the concept of social development and meet the diversified needs of people,which has high artistic value.On the other hand,due to the promotion of urbanization,many o ld buildings have been abandoned.From the perspective of cultural diversity protection,these ol d buildings need to be revitalized through functional replacement and transformation.As a high degree of freedom building type,small creative exhibition hall has good practicability.On the medium level,the small creative exhibition hall is the characteristic space of regional activities,which can play more social benefits.On the macro level,the small creative exhibition hall is anew force of Beijing regional culture,which can inject more connotation elements into the urb an development.In the evolution of contemporary small-scale creative exhibition halls,the small-scale creati ve exhibition halls in Beijing and domestic small-scale creative exhibition halls have a high deg ree of trend correlation,which is embodied in the time development context,space creative ele ments,regional continuity and other aspects of contemporary small-scale creative exhibition hall s.Therefore,taking the contemporary small-scale creative exhibition halls in Beijing as the rese arch object,it has a strong representativeness.After literature review and case collection,the au thor found that there are many excellent cases of small creative pavilions in Beijing,but few s cholars conducted a more systematic analysis of the small creative pavilions in Beijing.General ly speaking,the research on the small creative pavilions in Beijing has great innovation and va lue.In this context,the author makes a screening and quantitative analysis of the sample cases of contemporary small creative exhibition halls in Beijing,aiming to explore the future develop ment direction of small buildings through the designable types of small creative exhibition hall space,and also to provide some theoretical reference for the follow-up transformation of small exhibition hall space in Beijing.
