Wood structure of ancient buildings is the treasure of Chinese history and culture,and it is also an indispensable part of world architectural history,and its historical and cultural value is self-evident.There are different forms of wood structures in China,among which the post-and-lintel structure and column-and-tie structure are the most common types.In northern China,the post-and-lintel structure is widely used in palace houses,temples and monasteries.However,with the passage of time,the wood structure of ancient buildings was subjected to varying degrees of damage due to the erosion of the external environment,and most buildings are facing the problem of repair and reinforcement.Therefore,in order to protect the post-and-lintel structure buildings,it is of great significance to study the seismic performance and understand its seismic mechanism and failure mode,which can provide theoretical basis for the construction technology in the process of repair and reinforcement of post-and-lintel structure buildings in the future,and also provide reference for the proposal of relevant codes.In this paper,the dynamic characteristics and seismic response of the theatre model are quantitatively analyzed by shaking table test and finite element simulation.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The model of Huaijun Office Theatre with a scale ratio of 1:10 was designed.The processing,fabrication and installation of the scaled model of the theater building are completed.(2)Shaking table test was carried out on the scaled model.Seven different levels of earthquake intensity are considered in the test,and the white noise excitation was used to identify the variation of the dynamic characteristics of the model before and after each level earthquake.The displacement and acceleration responses at typical positions,such as column foot and column top,under different earthquake levels are obtained.According to the test results,the failure mode,dynamic characteristics and seismic response of the structure are analyzed in depth.(3)The mortise-tenon joint model of the theater building was established using the Abaqus software and the low-cycle reciprocating loading was applied to the joint model.The initial stiffness of the joint was obtained.At the same time,the whole finite element model of the theater building of Huaijun Office was established,and its modal analysis and dynamic time history analysis under the same loading conditions as the test model were carried out to obtain the dynamic characteristics and seismic response of the theater building.The simulation results were compared with the test results to verify the correctness of the finite element modeling method.(4)On the existing test conditions,the seismic intensity of the finite element model was further changed,and the seismic performance of the theater model was deeply explored.Based on the parametric numerical analysis of Huaijun Office Theater,the influence of column foot connection mode,wood property and tenon-mortise joint stiffness on the dynamic performance of post-and-lintel structure was studied,and the change law was find out to provide basis for the protection and repair of wood structure.
