As an immovable cultural relic in our country,architectural heritage contains rich value,which is a precious wealth of historical,artistic and scientific values.Architectural heritage is of great significance for inheriting the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and promoting the national spirit.Based on the above point of view,this paper mainly uses the methods of field investigation,literature research and graphic method,taking the Hsien-shan roof architecture of Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan Province as the research object,and carries out field investigation and data collection on 12 national and provincial key cultural relics protection units in Sichuan area,which provides precious preliminary data for this research.On the basis of the previous achievements,this paper makes a deep discussion on the architectural examples with obvious regional characteristics and less research in Hsien-shan roof architecture of Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan.Based on this,the paper discusses the structural characteristics of Hsien-shan roof architecture in Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan Province,and summarizes the historical reasons for the similarity.The content of this paper consists of six chapters: in the first chapter,through the summary and analysis of the research background,purpose and significance as well as previous research results,the importance of Xieshan architecture in Yuan Dynasty of Sichuan is elaborated,and through the analysis of previous research results,the necessity and feasibility of Xieshan architecture research in Yuan Dynasty of Sichuan are demonstrated,so as to establish the research object of this paper.Through the selection of research methods,the main technical means of this paper are clear.Through the establishment of research framework,the research ideas of this paper are clear.The second chapter mainly analyzes the natural conditions,historical background and the historical traffic of the song and Yuan Dynasties in Sichuan,and combs the current situation of the existing Xieshan buildings in the Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for exploring their nature and characteristics and excavating their historical causes.In the third chapter,according to three examples of Xieshan architecture in Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan Province: Feilai Hall of Emei temple,Wulong temple in Langzhong and Yong’an temple in Nanbu County,through the analysis of its Dougong,horizontal frame structure and vertical frame structure,the main characteristics of each architecture are summarized,and on this basis,the following demonstration is carried out.Based on the previous chapter,the fourth chapter summarizes the prominent features of Xieshan architecture in Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan.By analyzing its overall framework,Xieshan framework and corner structure,it is concluded that Xieshan architecture in Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan belongs to the early form.On this basis,it analyzes its beam frame relationship,and obtains the characteristics of the overall well shaped structure.In the fifth chapter,on the basis of the previous research,it introduces the song and Yuan Dynasty architecture in the northern and southern regions.According to the above analysis of Xieshan architecture in Yuan Dynasty of Sichuan,this paper summarizes the similarities between Xieshan architecture in Yuan Dynasty of Sichuan and Northern and southern regions from the aspects of beam structure and building components,and tries to summarize the reasons behind such phenomenon.It is found that the architecture of Xieshan in Yuan Dynasty in Sichuan is similar to that of song and Yuan Dynasty in Jiangnan in structure logic and details.The sixth chapter is to sort out the previous content,briefly summarizes the main research results of this paper,and summarizes the deficiencies in the whole research process.
