Processing And Application Of Road Traffic Surveillance Information

In recent years,with economic and social development,the number and usage of motor vehicles in cities have continued to increase,and traffic congestion has become increasingly serious.The essence of traffic congestion is the contradiction between traffic demand and supply.The solution can be divided into three aspects: ”increasing supply”,”suppressing demand”,and ”coordinating the contradiction between supply and demand”.The latter involves less area,relatively low cost,and relatively quick effect,so it is the most feasible.In the context of “coordinating the contradiction between supply and demand”,this paper proposes a method of mining traffic flow rules by analyzing road monitoring data at specific intersections.The general steps can be summarized as follows: First,determine the appropriateness according to the temporal and spatial characteristics of the traffic flow.Mining the regular time period and time interval,and then processing the data with the information of the incoming traffic from the upstream intersection,and finally selecting the appropriate time series prediction model and transforming it for prediction.This article uses examples to demonstrate and test.The experimental results show that the method in this article can make a more accurate prediction of the direction of vehicles at intersections.
