In recent years,in the increasingly complex automobile interactive information interface,some interactive information unrelated to driving behavior has largely distracted the driver’s attention in driving task,so that causing the driver to produce distracted driving behavior.Although the emergence of automatic driving technology reduces the probability of traffic accidents caused by drivers’ distracted driving,the complexity of driving mode brings new challenges to drivers’ cognitive load.The multi-scene interactive experience including the driver taking over the task and the corresponding driving safety impact.At present,the integration of Head Up Display(HUD)and assistant driving system makes driving safer and more comfortable,but there are still many problems.Based on the technical characteristics of Augmented Reality-Head Up Display(AR-HUD)and driver’s cognitive characteristics,this paper studies the design method of vehicle driving interaction interface in different scenes,so as to reduce the driver’s visual distraction and cognitive load,improve road driving safety.Firstly,this study summarizes the information display and design principles of automobile interactive interface.Taking the situation of users’ taking over and taking over after autonomous vehicles of L3 level as the direction of design,combined with the current research situation,and comparing the design and application of AR-HUD in different scenarios,the application scenarios and forms of AR-HUD in autopilot car are analyzed in detail.Combined with road environment and driver’s driving characteristics,two important evaluation indexes which affect driving safety included visual characteristics and hazard emergency characteristics are analyzed.Secondly,the user’s needs in different typical scenarios are mined and analyzed through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview.Using IPA model,the HMI function with higher development priority is proposed,and the user’s demand for AR-HUD auxiliary driving system is analyzed.According to the principles of interface design and the results of user demand analysis,the information modules of the in car HMI including AR-HUD are divided and laid out,and to determine the AR-HUD interface information architecture,information module and element division,display information module priority,so as to obtain car interface design schemes based on AR-HUD.Finally,through the experimental study on the influence of AR-HUD on driving safety,the statistical results on the influence of different design on driving safety are obtained.It analyzes the influence of AR-HUD auxiliary driving system on driving safety,and the AR-HUD auxiliary driving system is comprehensively evaluated.It provides a new direction for AR-HUD design of autonomous vehicles below L3 and L3 levels.
