With the rapid economic development, single mode of transportation has been unable to meet the cross-regional,multi-modal,and personalized needs of passengers. Therefore, the integrated air-rail service mode emerged and has gradually became the focus and trend of comprehensive transportation development. How to improve passengers’ satisfaction with the integrated air-rail service and then increase the attractiveness of mode has become a key issue, which urgently needs to be resolved in the development of the integrated air-rail service. The integrated air-rail mode involves two major medium and long-distance travel modes: railway and aviation. Therefore, transfer service is an indispensable key link and the transfer waiting time has therefore become a key bottleneck that reduces passenger satisfaction and hinders passengers from choosing this mode. Therefore,it is of great significance to promote the identification of bottleneck factors in the transfer waiting time of the integrated air-rail service hub,and to explore the optimization measures in combination with the development direction of the integrated air-rail service. This article relies on the national key research and development plan project(2018YFB1601304),the National Natural Science Foundation of China(52072066),the Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund Project(BK20200014)and the Jiangsu Transportation Science and Technology Program(2020Y12).First,based on the analysis of the concept and characteristics of the transfer waiting time, combined with the characteristics of the entire process of the integrated air-rail transfer service at the hub,the transfer waiting time for integrated air-rail service hub is defined and divided into the connection time, the check-in and baggage time, and the security inspection time. The possible factors that affect the transfer waiting time are analyzed respectively, laying a theoretical foundation for the identification of the bottleneck factors of the transfer waiting time.Secondly, using field questionnaire survey data, the basic personal attributes, travel transfer characteristics, and the current integrated air-rail transfer waiting time are analyzed through statistical analysis and regression analysis. For each segment time,an ordered multicategory Logistic regression model has been established to realize the bottleneck factor identification of the transfer waiting time at the integrated air-rail service hub in typical scenarios.Based on the analysis of the bottleneck factors in the transfer waiting time, combined with the current situation and development goals of the integrated air-rail service project in Shijiazhuang typical scenarios, optimization measures to shorten the transfer waiting time for integrated air-rail service hub are proposed from the aspects of connection service, ticket uniform service, terminal service, security inspection service and so on,which can provide suggestions for decision-makers.At the same time, combined with the field questionnaire survey data of typical scenarios, the optimization measures are quantitatively analyzed for the improvement effect of passengers’ reserved transfer waiting time. Finally, taking Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport as a demonstration scene, the physical environment of the hub,the integrated air-rail service and the optimized service are restored and simulated using Anylogic micro-simulation software. And the dynamic transfer waiting time is visualized to verify the optimization effect of the measures on the actual transfer waiting time.
