The completion of the Beidou-3 system marks the full construction of Beidou Navigation Satellite system.The SBAS is an important component of the BDS.By broadcasting augmented messages,users can be provided with navigation signals of higher accuracy and integrity,making it possible to apply this technology in industries requiring high precision,such as civil aviation.Therefore,studying the signal availability of BDSBAS and promoting the application of BDSBAS in Chinese civil aviation will bring great benefits to the development of China’s civil aviation industry.Firstly,the composition and basic working principle of the BDSBAS are introduced,and the augmentation messages broadcasted are interpreted in detail to provide a theoretical basis for the following paper to solve the intactness parameters.Secondly,the sources of positioning errors generated by the satellite navigation system and the corresponding measures to reduce or eliminate them are analyzed,focusing on the ionospheric delay errors that have a greater impact on the positioning accuracy.The ionospheric grid model with better correction effect is introduced and improved on the original interpolation algorithm,which is verified by simulation results to have higher accuracy.Next,the integrity parameters of the navigation signal are analyzed,and the local protection level is calculated from the receiver data as well as from the observatory,monitoring data.The results show that the BDSBAS signal can meet the performance requirements of navigation signals specified by ICAO,which verifies the feasibility of promoting the application of BDSBAS in China civil aviation.Finally,based on the verification of feasibility,the application of BDSBAS in China’s civil aviation is discussed in terms of flight procedure design.By selecting a domestic airport for analysis,the SBAS-based APV I approach procedure is designed according to the standards and compared with the traditional ILS and Baro VNAV procedures in terms of differences.The design results show that the SBAS APV I procedure can achieve the same operation standard as ILS CAT I.It is of great significance to improve the operation efficiency of terminal area and economic benefits of flight division,and also has some reference value to the field of SBAS flight procedure design in China.
