In recent years,as the popularity of household appliances has increased,the safety hazards associated with them have increased day by day,mainly due to the local high temperatures generated by faulty arcs in household appliances causing spontaneous combustion of the appliances,which in turn causes electrical fires,so the detection and protection behaviour of faulty arcs is of great importance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of domestic appliances.Theoretical studies have shown that the series fault arc current characteristics are related to the load parameters.This thesis is based on this theory of the load parameters as a key point for detecting the occurrence of fault arcing,and investigates them as follows:Firstly,the equivalent circuits for resistive inductive loads and bridge rectifier non-linear loads are constructed and the exact solutions for the parameters of these two loads are found.This paper constructs a matrix model of the fault arc current related to load parameters for resistive inductive loads and bridge rectifier non-linear loads based on the exact solution of the load parameters.Secondly,on the basis of the load equivalent circuit cited Mayr arc mathematical model,build AC series arc fault simulation platform,and different types of load in normal operation and arc fault occurred under the simulation,the load in normal operation and the arc fault current,voltage waveforms to verify the feasibility of the matrix model.Finally,three household appliances were selected as samples and their parameters were brought into the matrix model and the Mayr arc simulation model to obtain the fault arc current of these three household appliances when the fault arc occurred,and the error of the two fault arc currents were analyzed to verify the practicality of this method of determining the fault arc of a load through load parameter identification.
