AC traction motor is a simple and easy to maintain motor,and is widely used in various fields.However,the temperature of the motor increases due to various losses during operation,and if the temperature rise is too high,it may cause the failure of the rotor guide bar breakage and winding insulation damage,etc.Therefore,it is important to analyze the temperature field of AC traction motor and optimize the design of its structure to reduce the temperature rise on this basis.The paper presents a structured mesh optimization method based on Drosophila algorithm and a new rotor tooth axial ventilation slot structure,which have achieved good results.The main contents of the paper include.1.A structured mesh optimization delineation method is proposed for the problem of poor quality of structured mesh delineation of polygonal columnar thermal analysis models such as AC traction motor rotor guide bars.The paper establishes a solution domain model for AC traction motor temperature field analysis,determines the quadrilateral region mass calculation method for AC traction motor polygonal column model,proposes a quadrilateral region partitioning method for polygonal column model based on built-in quadrilateral,and uses the fruit fly algorithm(FOA)to optimize the integrated mass of each partitioning style to obtain the corresponding optimal partitioning method,and finally,the results are verified by finite element method and Finally,its effect was verified by finite element method and experiment respectively,and also compared and analyzed with the traditional structured mesh partitioning method.2.A new rotor tooth axial ventilation slot structure is proposed for the current problem of poor heat dissipation in the rotor axial ventilation holes of AC traction motors.In this paper,a conjugate heat transfer analysis domain model is established and the conjugate heat transfer analysis is carried out for the AC traction motor,and the corresponding fluid field and temperature field distribution maps are obtained.The effect of the new ventilation slot structure parameters on the heat dissipation of the motor rotor and the related performance indexes of the motor is analyzed,the optimal design method of the ventilation slot structure parameters is studied,and its effect is verified by simulation and compared with the traditional axial ventilation hole structure.
