In recent years,the rapid development of the automotive industry has brought huge safety challenges and social hot issues,and its safety,environmental protection and other issues have become the focus of academic and industry research.Driverless technology and advanced driver assistance systems are the main research directions in recent years.As the eyes and brains of unmanned systems,vehicle radar technology and radar signal processing technology have become the focus of research.Among them,how to accurately give the angle parameters of the target according to the received data is an important step and an important research direction to accurately detect the target.High angular resolution and high-precision angle measurement algorithm has long been the focus in this direction,and its precision and accuracy are important links to achieve radar target detection.This thesis mainly focuses on the theoretical analysis,simulation and actual measurement of the high-precision radar angle measurement algorithm under the vehicle millimeter wave.The research in this thesis is as follows:(1)Aiming at the MIMO radar system and various radar signal systems commonly used in vehicle millimeter-wave radar,the influence on the radar angle measurement performance is studied,and the influence and characteristics of the radar waveform are discussed.(2)According to the characteristics of millimeter wave radar angle measurement,the classical angle measurement algorithms in the vehicle radar environment are studied,including virtual aperture algorithm,DBF algorithm,and difference beam angle measurement algorithm,etc.,and the radar signal angle measurement simulation is carried out based on the vehicle radar environment.and simulation.Aiming at the situation of Doppler ambiguity under the TDM-MIMO system commonly used in vehicle radar,an algorithm and formula for understanding the ambiguity are proposed,and simulation is carried out according to the actual situation.(3)To solve the problem of the upper limit of the angle measurement of the vehiclemounted millimeter-wave radar in the MIMO system under the traditional system,this thesis analyzes the principle and studies the performance indicators of the classic superresolution algorithm,and then conducts a simulation.Further,the angle measurement algorithm is improved by using the theoretical analysis of probability theory in mathmatical field,and the analysis and simulation of the radar angle measurement algorithm are carried out.In addition,according to the theory of Capon algorithm,the method of improving the resolution of radar angle measurement algorithm is analyzed.(4)Based on the AWR2243 radar chip of Texas Instruments,the high-speed and high-precision radar angle measurement algorithm is implemented in parallel for the GPU,and the target detection and angle measurement algorithm analysis is carried out for a variety of actual environments.And according to the experimental results,the angle measuring ability of the system and algorithm proposed in this paper is analyzed,and the advantages of the system in real-time performance and angle resolution are obtained.
