Since the occurrence of human production activities,the object of creation is the product,but this is not a simple creation,but a creative activity that meets human needs,that is,human-centered design。Marlos’ s theory of“human needs” mentions that people will develop upwards to higher needs after meeting basic physiological and safety needs,that is,social needs,respect needs,and self-actualization needs,and these“needs”are more dependent on cultural participation,so the current design is tending to artistic design,which will also make people’s lives artistic。By analyzing the appearance and cultural connotation of traditional Chinese rabbit images,this paper explores its product design methods and application practices,and concludes that the current development of traditional Chinese rabbit culture needs to start from the design perspective of cultural integrity,explore new product design concepts and aesthetic principles to change the current situation of product design with more homogenization and strong handicraft taste,and excavate the cultural spirit of traditional Chinese rabbit image based on the perspective of new culture in the new era,and inject fresh blood into product design based on traditional Chinese rabbit image。This paper takes the traditional Chinese rabbit image as the research object,adopts a variety of research methods,analyzes the rabbit shape based on visual images and three-dimensional forms with the research attitude of adhering to the original intention of cultural inheritance,and concludes from the research of folk tales,myths and legends and classic records that the traditional Chinese rabbit image has the pluralistic symbolic meaning of peace and auspiciousness,reunion and happiness,longing,and many children and many blessings;Then sort out the festival products and museum products based on the image of traditional Chinese rabbits on the market today,conduct classification research,and conclude that the current products have strong cultural recognition and high fit of materials;According to the above analysis,in order to eliminate the homogenization of products and other issues,improve the difference of products,try to explore the use function through appearance modeling and emphasize its cultural attributes,symbolize and dynamically design methods with rabbit images,create prototype stories in the cultural transmission of products,integrate into products and strengthen the emotional communication between users and product shapes,functions and cultures;Finally,based on the application practice of traditional Chinese rabbit image and improving the design ideas,it provides practical theoretical methods and practical experience for product design with traditional Chinese rabbit image in the future。...
