Research On Landscape Design Of Kunming City Square From The Perspective Of In-Situ ——Examplified By New Haihe Square

In the context of the rapid development of globalized cities,the impact on culture has led to the destruction of urban local characteristic culture,and the phenomenon of "cultural convergence" has emerged.This phenomenon must have a negative impact on the local culture of the city.The most obvious change is in the urban public space that can show the local characteristics and spiritual connotation of the city.As a window to show the urban culture,the square space has appeared the modular design.There are still many deficiencies in the local concept,urban development context and value theory system guiding the construction of the urban square.How to reasonably excavate the local characteristic culture of the city and guide it in the design is the focus of this paper.It is also a combination of theory and practice to realize the development and continuation of local culture through urban square landscape design.This paper studies the problems of urban squares from the theoretical aspect to understand the development of squares and the elements of local characteristics;From the aspect of methodology,this paper studies the ideas,principles and methods of landscape design of local urban squares;From the aspect of practice,design the urban square landscape scheme with the local urban culture of Kunming as the design source.Firstly,the paper expounds the concept of locality and the relevant theoretical research of urban square,studies and analyzes the types and spatial structure characteristics of urban square,and expounds the relationship between urban square and locality.Analyze the local elements of urban characteristics,and according to these elements,focus on the typical cases inside and outside the province with guiding significance of the paper,and analyze the local characteristics,landscape plant collocation,spatial composition and cultural symbols expressed in the cases.Secondly,through the methods of literature research,field investigation and visit,case analysis and comparison,this paper summarizes the ideas,principles and methods of local urban square landscape design,which further has the basis of theoretical support and construction techniques for the local design of urban square landscape.Finally,through the collection and sorting of preliminary data,the elements of history and culture,spatial site,road location and other aspects of the site of design practice are extracted,the concepts,principles and methods of landscape design of local urban squares summarized in the early stage are applied in the design,and the design content of landscape of New Haihe square is completed through the realization of design guided by theory.The research results of this paper have practical significance for the characteristic landscape of local cities,reduce the pattern of style convergence in the design of urban squares,provide new ideas for the landscape design of local urban squares,and also have reference significance for the design of other public spaces in the future.
