Mechanical parts will wear and deform due to friction and heat during long-term operation,if mechanical failures cannot be detected in time,it may lead to major failures or even downtime.Due to the high price of fault detection instruments for industrial equipment and the complex detection environment,fault detection cannot be widely used.Nowadays,smartphones are equipped with accelerometer,if it can effectively collect the characteristic signal of the fault,the cost of fault diagnosis can be effectively reduced,and it can provide new methods and theories for fault diagnosis,which is of great significance in reality and science.This article addresses the above issues,developed a smartphone vibration signal acquisition system based on Android platform,construction of rotor vibration test bench and data acquisition device,comparative analysis through fault diagnosis expert system,verify whether the collected vibration signal contains fault information,the details are as follows:(1)Analyze the principle of vibration signal acquisition,summarize existing vibration acquisition methods and combine the advantages of a smartphone,proposed use smartphone to collect vibration signals and successfully designed related systems.The hardware design is mainly for the selection of sensors and smartphones;the software design is mainly for smartphone sensor call,data acquisition,data and image display and data storage,etc.Experiments show that the system can successfully collect vibration signals.(2)To verify that the vibration signal collected by the smartphone contains fault information,use acceleration sensors and data acquisition cards to collect vibration signals,the rotor vibration simulation test bench is built at the same time.Use the rotor vibration simulation test bench to simulate different rotor fault types,and use smartphone and data acquisition card to collect vibration signals at the same time.The collected data is converted and stored in the database,the connection between the fault diagnosis expert system and the database is completed,and functions such as data calling are realized.(3)Use the fault diagnosis expert system to analyze and compare the vibration signals of the two acquisition methods.Experimental results show that the signal collected by the smartphone can analyze identify faults such as mass imbalance,parallel misalignment,loose support parts and minor abrasions when the rotor speed is low and the vibration is not violent.It verifies the conclusion that the vibration signal of the rotating machinery collected by the smartphone contains fault information.In the future,we will continue to study the smartphone vibration signal acquisition system to realize the functions of smartphone vibration signal analysis and fault diagnosis.
