| Maize plays an important role in the national food safety as an important food, animal feed and raw material for industry with 38000000 ha in China.Rhopalosiphum maidis is an insect and a pest of maize and other crops by suck the fluids and diffuse many kinds of virus, which has a nearly worldwide distribution.Resistant materials screened and resistant QTLs to Rhopalosiphum maidis in maize identified are helpful to the inheritance of resistance and resistant breeding. The main results are as follows:1.A novel field experimental protocol to determine the resistance to Rhopalosiphum maidis, which showed high reliable evaluation standard, was established and applied to population samples’ study consequently, and then 15 highly resistant inbred lines were screened, such as the inbred lines CML206,CML225,CNW104,CNW026,CML325,CML437,CNW082,CNW127.2.Three QTLs on the chromosomes 4,5,7 which can provide resistance by 15.1%,4.7%,7.8% respectively were identified by 250 RIL population derived from the resistant line BT-1and the susceptive line N6 in two years in Hainan,of which a main effect QTL on chr.4 was mapped in different enveroments and aphid-resistant characters.3.22 stable SNPs related to the resistance to Rhopalosiphum maidis were identified by GWAS with 222 maize inbred lines in two years, and two candidate genes were determined based on the nucleotide and protein sequences in two parental lines by linkage mapping and GWAS.These results would contribute to map-based cloning of the resistant QTLs and maize resistant breeding to Rhopalosiphum maidis. |
