Rice stress-activated protein kinases(OsSAPKs)belongs to sucrose nonfermenting1-related protein kinase2(Sn RK2),plays roles in signal transduction of abiotic stress and in biotic stress. In this study, the functions of OsSAPK9 in response to Al stress and rice bacterial blight in rice. The main results are as follows:1、OsSAPK9 positively regulated tolerant response to Al stress in rice.Under 10 m M/L Al stress, the reduction ratio of plant height of OsSAPK9 over-expression transgenic lines was significantly lower than that of wild type 9804,and the aging degree of transgenic lines is lower than that 9804;At 6 h,2 d,6 d,10 d under Al stress, the Al uptake of root of OsSAPK9 over-expression of transgenic plants was significantly lower than that of wild type plants; Moreover, the activities of Superoxide Dismutase(SOD)and Peroxidase(POD)in the roots of OsSAPK9 over-expression transgenic plants were higher than that in non-transgenic plants. However, the activities of SOD,POD and Catalase(CAT)in the parts above root of over-expression transgenic plants lower than that in non-transgenic plants.2、OsSAPK9 was involved in regulating race specific resistance for bacterial blight in rice. The plants of OsSAPK9 over-expressing transgenic plants exhibited the resistance to five Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae(Xoo)strains.The interaction between OsSAPK9 and OsHap2 c was demonstrated in vivo and in vitro through the techniques of yeast two-hybrid,pull-down and bimolecular fluorescence complementation. In addition,OsHap2 c was found to negatively regulated resistance to bacterial blight. The results provide information for further studying the molecular mechanism of crosstalk between biotic and abiotic responses in rice...
