Forest park is the representative essence of China’s forest resources, and fine management and fine technology are the basis for precise improvement of forest quality,as well as an important guarantee for realizing the maximization of multiple functions and benefits of forest, meeting the ecological needs of human beings and promoting economic and social development to improve forest quality. This study takes shimen national forest park as the research object, with the ultimate goal of building high-quality forest and improving multiple functional benefits of the forest, and carries out a study on the precise improvement of forest quality. The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the measured data of standard land in October 2012 and July 2017,the species and quantity of plants in the standard land increased slightly after 5 years of protection and restoration. Both stand diversity index and evenness index were changed, richness was increased, diversity was strengthened, and distribution of different individuals was relatively uniform and stable. The volume of the sample plot increased significantly, with an average increase of 9.93 m~3/hm~2and an increase of 6.64%.It can be seen that the growth rate of the surveyed sample plot is significantly higher than the average forest stand quality in guangdong, indicating that the forest community in this sample plot is a natural secondary forest with high quality and great production potential, which can provide a basis for the transformation of low-yield and low-efficiency forest in guangdong and the accurate improvement of forest quality.(2)Through comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the overall forest quality of shimen national forest park,a total of 64 overripe forests, mature forests and near-mature forests with relatively low productivity(volume less than 115 m~3/hm~2)were selected.Principal component analysis(pca)and cluster analysis were used to classify low productivity forest types.According to the results of principal component analysis, the main influencing factors of forest quality grade, plant number density, age group, dominant tree species, slope, slope direction and landform. The forest type can be divided according to these 7 main influencing factors.Through cluster analysis,64 small classes can be divided into three categories.Named after"landform+slope+slope position+forest species",they are:Landscape forest on the upper slope of low mountain danger slope,Landscape forest on the whole slope of low mountain steep slope,Landscape forest on the middle slope of hilly steep slope.(3)Landscape forest on the upper slope of low mountain danger slope is mainly managed and protected by general management.Cutting in any way is prohibited and natural renewal method should be adopted to prevent forest fires and the occurrence and development of forest diseases, insects and rodents; For the Landscape forest on the whole slope of low mountain steep slope, the management measures include healthy cutting, pruning and tending, artificial promotion and natural renewal. For the crown density is greater than 0.8 above, forest health of slope is greater than 25°,crown density is greater than 0.7 more than stand for pruning tending. After cutting, artificial and uniform replanting was carried out to build suitable target tree species for the purpose of renewal. For the Landscape forest on the middle slope of hilly steep slope, the management measures include ecological thinning, pruning and tending, and natural renewal. For above crown density greater than 0.85,less than 25°,slope forest ecological thinning. For stands with canopy density greater than 0.7,pruning and tending should be carried out to remove dead or dying branches under the canopy and living branches with sparse branches and leaves.
