The quenching and tempering treatment of forage crops can accelerate the evaporation of water,change its mechanical properties and physical state,reduce the loss of forage nutrients,and facilitate the storage and utilization of forage crops.With the introduction and promotion of China’s“grain-to-feed”policy,the planting area of forage crops has been increasing,and the demand for forage processing machinery has also increased.Based on the systematic analysis and summarization of related research at home and abroad,this paper developed a quenching and tempering test bench suitable for forage crops by studying the mechanical properties of typical forage crops.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The mechanical properties of typical forage crops(silage corn stalks,grain and alfalfa)were studied experimentally.The shearing,compression,bending and tensile tests of silage corn stalks were carried out by universal testing machine.The mechanical properties of the corn stalks of Siyu 2 were obtained.The shearing and compression tests were carried out on the grain to obtain the mechanical properties of the grain.The silage corn stalk deformation during the compression and bending test of Siyu 2 corn stover was studied.The results showed that the axial compression test of internode sample,the bending test of node sample and the radial compression test had better rupture effect on the silage corn stalk;The grain deformation during the test was studied.The results showed that the lateral pressure test and the top pressure test had better rupture effect on the corn kernels.The change of the force of the multi-layer sputum during the compression process was studied.Observing the deformation of the alfalfa through the observation window,the pressure was measured in the loading process in all directions and in real time.The early stage was mainly the compaction stage.Later it is flattened.Provide theoretical basis for the actual test bench.By radial compression test,the compressive strength,compressive modulus and maximum strength were obtained.(2)According to different quenching and tempering methods of silage corn and pasture,two kinds of tempering rolls,tooth roll and rubber flattening roll,were determined,the length of which was 424 mm,the diameter was 200 mm,and the rubber flattening roll had a helix angle of 30°.At the same time,the key components such as the adjustment mechanism of the tempering roller,the transmission mechanism and the feeding inlet were designed,and the 3D model of the test rig was drawn by the 3D software Solid Works.(3)The modal analysis of the toothed roller and the rubber flattening roller was carried out by ANSYS Workbench.The analysis results show that the normal working speed of the toothed roller and the rubber flattening roller is much smaller than the first-order critical speed.Based on the joint solution of Hypermesh and ls-dyna,it is determined that when the gap between rubber flattening rollers was 2.5 mm,the best working conditions were:feeding speed was 8 m/s,and rotates speed was 780 r/min.(4)The test bench trial system was carried out,and the primary and secondary sequential of corn stalk feed amount of the tooth roller torque influence factor feed quantity>gap>rotational speed was determined by the test bench test,and the excellent horizontal combination was A3B1C1:1350 r/min,1 root was fed and gap was 2 mm.Resulut of king grass were obtanined:he primary and secondary sequential of corn stalk feed amount of the tooth roller torque influence factorar was the rotational speed>gap>different of speed,and the excellent horizontal combination was A1B2C3:the difference of speed was 30%,the rotational speed was 1012 r/min,and the gap was 2.5 mm.The orthogonal test results of alfalfa were analyzed,and the main and secondary order of influencing torque value factors and flattening rate was clearance>feeding rate>rotation speed,and the main and secondary order of influencing crushing rate was clearance>feeding rate>rotation speed.
