| The objective of this study was investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of coated pantothenic acid and coated nicotinic acid on growth performance,nutrient digestion and metabolism,blood physiological and serum biochemical indexes,rumen fermentation,and concentrations of pantothenic acid and nicotinic acid in duodenum.This study uses a 2 × 2 two-factor experimental design.The experimental actor were CPA(0 mg,CPA-或 52.51 mg·kg-1BW·d-1,CPA +)和 CNA(0 mg,CNA-或 47.00mg·kg-1BW·d-1,CNA +)In this study,thirty-six Northeast fine wool lambs of similar weight(22.28 ± 0.42kg)and similar ages were selected and randomly assigned to the basic diet group(CPA-& CNA-),basic diet group + coated pantothenic acid group(CPA + & CNA-),Basic diet group + coated nicotinic acid group(CPA-& CNA +)and basic diet group + coated pantothenic acid group + coated nicotinic acid group(CPA + & CNA +).The results showed that:1.Growth performance: Supplementation of CNA significantly increased ADG,DMI,FCR and the apparent digestibility of OM(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CPAsignificantly increased ADG,FCR,and the apparent digestibility of DM,CP,NDF and EE(P < 0.05),but significantly decreased DMI(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CNA and CPA significantly increased ADG,the apparent digestibility of DM,CP and EE,while DMI in CNA + CPA + group was significantly lower than that in CNA-CNA-group(P < 0.05).2.Rumen fermentation: Supplementation of CNA significantly reduced the concentration of total volatile acid,propionic acid concentration and ethyl-propylene ratio,and significantly increased the rumen NH3-N concentration(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CPA significantly increased the yield of total volatile acid and the concentration of propionic acid,but decreased significantly the concentration of NH3-N compared with the CPA-group(P < 0.05).and there was no significant difference in the concentration of acetic acid,butyric acid,isobutyrate,valerate and isovalerate.Supplementation of CNA and CPA significantly improved the yield of total volatile acid and propionic acid concentration,and reduced the ratio of acetate(A)/ propionate.(P < 0.05).3.Organ development: Supplementation of CNA significantly lowered the organ index of spleen,kidney,rumen,flap stomach and rumen,promoted the index of lung organ and the weight of small intestine,and markedly enhanced the eye muscle area(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CPA significantly increased the dressing percentage,the organ index of liver,lung and kidney(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CNA and CPA significantly improveed dressing percentage,eye muscle area and organ index of liver,and significantly reduced the index of spleen organ(P < 0.05).4.Meat quality: Supplementation of CNA significantly declined value of L*45 min,shear force and ash content of intramuscular,markedly improved intramuscular fat and tenderness(P < 0.05);Supplementation of CPA significantly increased the values of a*,b* at 45 min,24 h after slaughter and intramuscular ash content,and lessened the shear force(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CNA and CPA significantly decreased value of L*45 min and L*24 h,improved the value of a*45 min and b*24 h,and significantly increase the intramuscular fat content(P < 0.05).5.Serum biochemical index: Supplementation of CNA group significantly increase in the contents of serum TP and TG,and a significant reduce in the contents of serum TC,HDL and LDL(P < 0.05),a distinct improvement in the total antioxidant capacity SOD and GSH-Px,and concent of serum Ig A,Ig G and Ig M(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CPA significantly increase increase in the concnetrations of serum TP,ALB,TG,HDL and LDL,activities of CAT,GSH-Px and SOD,and contents of serum Ig A and Ig M(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CNA and CPA significantly reduced the contents of serum TC,LDL and MDA,whereas improved the total antioxidant capacity,SOD and GSH-Px activity,content of Ig A,Ig G and Ig M.7.Serum NA and PA content and rumen and duodenum NA and PA content: Supplementation of CNA significantly higher content of serum NADP,PA,PANK,Co A and ACP than the CNA-group did(P <0.05);Supplementation of CPA had a no significant difference in serum PANK,Co A and ACP content(P >0.05),but had a significantly increased serum PA and rumen chyme NA content 24 h after feeding,reduced serum NADP content,3 h after feeding The content of NA and PA in rumen fluid and the content of duodenal NA at 24 h after feeding(P < 0.05).Supplementation of CNA and CPA significantly increased serum Co A,ACP,PANK,NADP and twelve hours after feeding The content of NA in the duodenum,but the PA content in rumen fluid 3 hours after feeding and the PA content in duodenum 24 hours after feeding were significantly lower than that of CNA-CPA-(P < 0.05).In summary,PA and NA have a positive interaction effect,which can promote growth performance and improve meat quality by promoting rumen fermentation and nutrient absorption,increasing the content of NA in the duodenum,and improving the antioxidant capacity,immunity function and the quality of meat. |
