Based on a physical barrier to prevent snails from getting up and down the tree,this study thoroughly explored that the effects of the caliber and height of the barrier and the reagents in the barrier on the snail trapping effect and the influence of temperature and humidity on snail.Through this experiment,we learned that the occurrence law of snails in Shanxi Taigu area,clearly set capture parameters of the barrier and the parameters of the field in the barrier.The aim of the study is to provide reference for accurate monitoring and effective control of snails in North China.The study results show:The capturing snail effect is affected by parameters,such as the caliber of the barrier,height of the barrier from the ground and the reagent in the barrier.Judging from the capture effect of the caliber of the blocker on the snail,the trapping effect of the caliber with a diameter of 7 cm is significantly higher than that of the other two treatments(caliber 6 cm or 5 cm).The amount of snail captures per day was 10.7,8.3and 5,respectively.From the height of the barrier from the ground to the snail capture effect,the capture effect of the blocker with a height of 20 cm was significantly higher than that of the other two treatments(caliber 30 cm or 40 cm),and the snail trapping volume per day is 9.3,5.7 and 3.7 head.From the capture effect of snails by the pesticide in the barrier,the capture effect of snails by Metaldehyde was significantly higher than that of the other treatments,the snail amount of capturing snail reached 38.7 per day,and the single-day snail captured amount of Sodium oxide,Calcium oxide and Chlorpyrifos was 13,8 and 4.3,respectively.From an economic point of view,the cost-effectiveness of Calcium oxide is reached 22.18,the cost-effectiveness of Metaldehyde,Sodium oxide and Chlorpyrifos were 10.49,3.88,and 0.66,respectively.In Taigu,Shanxi and its surrounding areas,snails occur from early May to mid-October,and the peak damage period is mainly from June to September.Within a certain temperature range,the peak period of snail coincides with the rain period.The results of this study show that when the temperature reaches 23 ℃-28 ℃,the snail occurs seriously,and it is significantly different from several other temperature ranges.When the relative humidity reaches 60%-80%,the snail occurs severely,and it is different from the other significant difference.At the same time,within a certain temperature range,the higher the humidity,the more snails,and the lower the humidity,the fewer snails.
