In recent years, with the gradual development of the aquaculture industry, the number of farms in all provinces has increased, including many small or small cattle farms owned by farmers and herdsmen. The shortage of animals, while keeping cattle and raising animals such as dogs and cats, can easily lead to the spread of infectious diseases and parasitic diseases.Neosporidiosis is a common parasitic diseases in the breeding industry,it is ubiquitous in all parts of the world, which pose a threat to the health of livestock and cause great economic losses to the breeding industry.Neospora caninum is a widely distributed animal intracellular parasite, which can infect a variety of livestock such as deer, horses, cattle, sheep, and canines and other canines are its ultimate host.Neosporidiosis can cause miscarriage, stillbirth,or nervous system disease of newborn calves. In cattle breeding, abortion of cows will cause great economic losses, will raise breeding costs, and reduce the output rate of cattle, which should be paid more attention. In this study,an indirect ELISA method using a mixture of NcSAGl and NcGRA7 as coating antigens was first established to detect neospora antibodies in serum. After specificity test and repetitive test,258 samples of yellow cattle serum collected from 10 regions of Jilin Province and 76 samples of dairy cow serum collected from 5 different regions of Jilin Province were tested for serum samples of neosporidiosis. The test results of the local serum samples are compared with the test results of the commercial kit and the NcSAG1 ELISA test results. The results show that the method has a 90.12%agreement with the commercial kit test results and the NcSAG1 ELISA test results. The rate reached 94.91%.The neosporidium detection ELISA method a reference for the diagnosis and prevention of neosporidiosis. The results of detecting the local serum by the detection method established in this experiment were analyzed, and the positive rate of neosporidium antibody in serum of different regions, different ages, different seasons, different genders, and different populations was compared. The results showed that different regions and different ages There was no significant difference in the positive rate of neosporidium antibody in the serums of dairy cows and yellow cattle of different seasons and different genders. The results of this epidemiological survey provide some data for the epidemic situation of neosporidiosis in China.
