The occurrence of forest fires poses a serious threat to China’s rich forest resources.With the continuous advances in embedded technology and image processing technology,the way to use new forest fire monitoring technology to replace traditional and inefficient forest fire monitoring methods such as manual patrol and watchtower monitoring has become a current research hotspot.Under this technical background,this thesis designs and implements an embedded smoke identification forest fire detection device that integrates video image acquisition,smoke algorithm recognition,image compression,and network transmission.The main research work of this article is as follows:(1)Integrated design of embedded smoke identification forest fire monitoring device.First,the overall Structure of the Entire embedded forest fire monitoring system is expounded,and the specific functional requirements of the forest fire detection device designed in this thesis are proposed.Secondly,on the basis of clarifying the performance requirements of the device,the overall structure of the software and hardware of the detection device is designed.At the same time,the operating principle and workflow of the detection device are explained.(2)Designed and implemented a hardware platform for the forest fire detection device.Minute designs of each module of the forest fire detection device hardware platform is presented,it mainly includes video acquisition module,main control module,video output module and network module.Among them,the video acquisition module uses a CMOS camera to collect video images;the main control module adopts Hi Silicon Hi3519v101 processor,which is mainly used to realize the control of each hardware module,and real-time encoding processing and smoke algorithm recognition of the video images collected by the camera;the video output module is used in realtime display of the smoke image identified by the algorithm;The network module is responsible for the communication between the embedded hardware platform and the monitoring center,and carries out the network transmission of the compressed video stream.(3)Designed and implemented a software platform for the forest fire detection Devices.Under the Linux embedded operating system,this thesis uses V4L2 video capture technology,smoke recognition algorithm based on Open CV,H.264 compression encoding protocol and TCP network transmission protocol to complete the design of forest fire detection device,and with the hardware platform,the specific functional requirements of the forest fire detection device are realized.Finally,the performance of the forest fire detection device was tested,the Experiments show the functional modules of the forest fire detection device designed in this thesis can work normally.The device can effectively identify the smoke information in the video surveillance area,and transmit the collected video data to the host computer in real time,which can meet the requirements of the subject.
