The Loess Plateau is the region with the strongest soil erosion in China.Due to the weak anti erosion ability of the surface soil,soil erosion is easy to occur in case of rainstorm,which leads to reservoir siltation,riverbed uplift and flood disaster aggravation.The sediment in the river and the large amount of pollutants it carries will also cause the water quality to decline and harm human health.Therefore,it is an urgent task to prevent soil erosion.In the long history of China,warping dam is the most important measure to prevent soil erosion.But at present,the warping dam in our country is facing serious damage,and the main cause of warping dam damage is seepage damage.In this paper,the following research work has been carried out for the seepage failure of check dams:(1)Based on the literature review,the latest research status of Warping Dam at home and abroad is understood,and the preparatory work before numerical simulation test is carried out,including the determination of various factors affecting the stability of warping dam seepage,the selection of relevant material parameters of each part of warping dam,how to define the boundary conditions of ABAQUS software,and the realization of seepage model in ABAQUS software;(2)Using ABAQUS The software analyzes the stable seepage of two-dimensional earth dam under various factors(self shape condition and rainfall condition),so as to obtain the saturation line,pore water pressure,saturation and velocity distribution of the dam body under various influencing factors,analyze the influence on its permeability,and simulate that when reducing the head height,reducing the slope ratio and increasing the width of the slope top,the seepage surface can be lowered and the soil can be increased The saturation area inside the damdecreases.The increase of rainfall intensity and rainfall duration will increase the pore water pressure and the saturation area;(3)The engineering geological conditions and hydrogeological conditions of Yan’an were investigated to understand the basic situation of the study area.Then,the existing warping dams in Ansai area of Yan’an are simulated in ABAQUS software.The simulation results are compared with the real monitoring results,and the conclusions are consistent,which verifies the applicability of the simulation results in practical projects;(4)On this basis,from the perspective of anti-seepage reinforcement,the reference scheme of anti-seepage reinforcement for typical warping dams is recommended,and effective prevention and control measures are put forward especially for silt filled warping dams and damage caused by overtopping scouring.
