This paper takes sunflower straw and corn straw sand barriers as the research object, using field surveys and indoor analysis methods to analyze the wind speed changes at different heights under the action of the sand barriers, and the changes in soil physical and chemical properties, and discuss the windbreak and sand fixation of sunflower straw and corn straw sand barriers effect. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)After the sand barrier is laid, the wind speed on the surface is effectively reduced. The wind resistance of the two sand barriers is the most obvious at 10cm;the surface roughness of the vertical sunflower straw sand barrier changes significantly, which is 76.43 times that of the control.(2)After the sand barrier is set up,the sand dune soil is mainly fine sand and medium sand, and as the depth increases, the soil moisture gradually increases. At a depth of 50 to 60 cm,the horizontal sunflower straw sand barrier has a maximum soil moisture content 4.23%.(3)The sand barrier has a significant improvement effect on the chemical properties of the soil, while the organic matter, total nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content of the vertical sunflower straw sand barrier are higher than other straw sand barriers.
