| As an important economic crop,potato has been widely planted and promoted.Therefore,the design and optimization of potato harvesting machinery is even more important.This article mainly designed and tested the potato digging shovel,which is the main soil-contacting part of the potato harvesting machine.Aiming at the problems of traditional potato digging shovel,such as high resistance,easy to be blunt,high fuel consumption and cost waste,it adopts the principle of bionics.Optimized the design of the potato digging shovel,the purpose is to reduce the resistance of the potato digging shovel during harvesting operations and to keep its blade always sharp.First,the bionic prototype was selected.Using the rabbit incisor as the bionic prototype,the overall morphology was studied through 3D scanning and ultra-depthof-field microscope shooting,and its strength and hardness were measured,which will be used for the future bionic potato digging shovel.The design provides theoretical foundation and data support.Combining the design of traditional potato digging shovel and traditional self-sharpening principle,using the research method of bionics,combined with the extracted bionic curve,a self-sharpening potato digging shovel with bionic characteristic curve is designed.The shovel tip is heat treated to make the two sides of the shovel tip have different hardnesses,imitating the different hardness of the inner and outer surfaces of rabbit incisors,resulting in a difference in hardness,making it have the characteristics of bionic self-sharpening.Secondly,this research conducted simulation tests and scaled friction and wear tests.Using ABAQUS finite element simulation software,under simulated operating conditions,simulated experiments were carried out on the biomimetic potato digging shovel,and the resistance to it was analyzed.The bionic potato digging shovel was used to carry out a scaled friction and wear test using a friction and wear tester,and the resistance,mass wear degree and self-sharpening effect were analyzed separately.Finally,this study carried out a field potato harvest experiment.The field test conducted in Hebei Province mainly focused on the fuel consumption index reflecting the resistance and the self-sharpening effect index,and the results were analyzed and studied.The field experiment conducted in Gansu Province mainly used the resistance test system to directly test the resistance.After the experiment was completed,the open rate and broken rate of different potato digging shovel were counted,and the different types of potato digging were analyzed and compared.The resistance of the shovel and the rate of clear and broken potatoes.After a series of experimental studies,analysis and comparison show that the bionic potato digging shovel is relatively better than the existing ordinary flat shovel in reducing resistance and self-sharpening effect. |
