| Pogostemon cablin,one of the medicinal plant,is facing the problems of germplasm resources depletion and product quality degradation,which threatens its safety,stability and effectiveness.In this paper,the effects of Funneliformis mosseae and Claroideoglomus etunicatum on the growth of P.cablin and its active components were studied by pot experiment,in order to understand the effects of the fungi on the growth and medicinal active ingredients of P.cablin.The results are as follows:Both F.mosseae and C.etunicatum could form a good symbiotic relationship with P.cablin,and the infection effect of C.etunicatum on P.cablin was better.The infection rate of C.etunicatum and F.mosseae reached 78.33%and 75.00%at the highest.The survival rate of P.cablin cuttings after infection was higher than that of the control group.The root activity,total root length,average diameter,root volume,root area,number of tips and forks of P.cablin inoculated with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi were significantly increased,and fibrous roots of P.cablin were increased.The effect of C.etunicatum on root morphology and root activity was better than that of F.mosseae.Inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi could increase the content of chlorophyll,IAA,gibberellin and the Zeatin-riboside in leaves of P.cablin,reduce the content of abscisic acid,promote elongation and delay plant senescence.The effect of two arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on the chlorophyll content of P.cablin was different.The promotion effect of F.mosseae is better in the early stage,and the performance of C.etunicatum is better in the later stage.The peak chlorophyll content of P.cablin inoculated with C.etunicatum and F.mosseae were similar,which were 396.59 mg/m~2 and 397.69 mg/m~2,respectively,while the peak value of the control group was 368.70 mg/m~2.Inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi promoted the growth of P.cablin,increased the plant height and stem diameter,promoted the accumulation of dry matter and increased the yield of volatile oil.The plant height,the stalk diameter and the dry weight of P.cablin inoculated with F.mosseae were 9.0%,9.8%and 21.4%higher than that of the control,and the yield of volatile oil was40.1%higher than that of the control.The plant height,the stalk diameter and the dry weight of P.cablin inoculated with C.etunicatum were 18.6%,14.4%and 51.4%higher than that of the control,and the yield of volatile oil was 95.2%higher than that of the control.Inoculating arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi can increase the relative percentage of active ingredients in Patchouli essential oil,but it did not change the kinds of active components in the volatile oil of P.cablin.Compared with the control group,the relative content of patchouli alcohol in F.mosseae and C.etunicatum was increased by 31.01%and 15.89%,and the relative content ofδ-guaiene was increased by 25.77%and 34.81%,respectively.In conclusion,arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi can effectively promote the growth and development of P.cablin,promote the accumulation of volatile oil,and increase the content of effective medicinal components. |
