Study On Feeding And Management Techniques Of Romain Parental Breeder Breeders Under The Cross-cage Cultivation Mode | | Posted on:2021-09-14 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J H Du | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2493306506955119 | Subject:Master of Agriculture | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The breeding mode of egg breeder chickens is mainly single-cage feeding and local cross-breeding.Local cross-breeding refers to the breeding mode in which male and female hens are bred together according to a certain ratio and use animal instincts to mate naturally.With the expansion of the scale of single-breed chicken breeding in my country,the production cost of traditional artificial insemination continues to rise.Under the background of the industry where animal welfare is concerned,the current cage breeding has become the first choice for laying chicken breeding.However,my country’s current cage breeding management technology is still in the exploration stage,and there are still many deficiencies in the breeding process,which affects the production performance of egg breeders.Therefore,this study carried out a series of experiments on male and female mixed breeding age,rearing density,male-female ratio and male cock behavior under the conditions of the roman powder-shell egg breeder cages,and the results are as follows.1.The results of studies on the effects of different polyculture days showed that:the120-day-old mixed breeder hens had a production day significantly later than the140-day-old mixed breed group(P<0.01);The male body weight compliance rate of the120-day-old polyculture group is significantly higher than that of the 140-day-old polyculture group(P<0.01);The egg breaking rate of the 120-day-old polyculture group is lower than that of the 140-day-old polyculture group,and The 120-day-old mixed-breeding group had higher rates of healthy mothers.2.The results of studies on the effects of different feeding densities showed that the egg passing rate and breeder uniformity of the low-density test group(694cm~2/bird,748cm~2/bird)were significantly higher than that of the high-density control group(582cm~2/bird;P<0.05));the minimum density group(748cm~2/bird)breeders achieved significantly better than the control group(P<0.05);the average egg weight of the control group was significantly larger than that of the low density test group(P<0.05).3.The research results of different male-female ratios show that:five different test groups(1:8,1:9,1:10,1:11,1:13)There are significant differences in egg production rate,egg breaking rate,and egg fertilization rate.Among them,the egg production rate and the egg fertilization rate are the best at the ratio of 1:10(P<0.05).4.Observation results of male cocks in different breeding ratios showed that the mating frequency of male cocks in the two experimental groups of 1:8 and 1:10 in the afternoon was significantly higher than that in the morning(P<0.05).The behavior was mainly concentrated between 16:00 and 18:00;the mating frequency of male cocks in the1:8 test group was significantly higher than that in the 1:10 test group(P<0.05);the fertilization rate of the breeding eggs in the 1:8 test group was higher than 1:10,And the mating behavior of 1:8 occurred earlier than the experimental group of 1:10.In summary,this study shows that the optimal mixed breeding age of the roman powder-shell egg breeders in the current cage-raising mode is 120,the optimal feeding density is 654cm~2/bird,and the optimal male-female ratio is 1:10.The mating behavior and fertilization rate of the males and females in the later period are better than those at 1:8.The results of this study provide a scientific basis for optimizing the breeding management technology of roman powder-shell egg breeders. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Nature mating, laying hens, polyculture age, feeding density, male to female ratio, behavior | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
