For a long time,rice blast is one of the most serious diseases in agriculture of rice planting,causing great losses to the agricultural economy of our country and even the whole world.Bacillus pumilus has great potential in controlling plant diseases.In this paper,the antibacterial character-istics and genome-wide analysis of Bacillus pumilus NDY-10 preserved in the laboratory were studied,and the following results were obtained:1.Bacillus pumilus NDY-10 has a broad antibacterial spectrum and a good inhibitory effect on a variety of plant pathogens.The antibacterial rate of the aseptic fermentation broth against the Magnaporthe grisea was positively related to its added amount.When the aseptic fermentation broth was mixed with PDA medium at the ratio of 1:4,the antibacterial rate was 100%.2.After being processed at the pH range of 5-9,different temperatures(4-100 °C)and UV irradiation of different lengths of time(2-10 h),all antibacterial rates of aseptic fermentation broth of Bacillus pumilus NDY-10 remained stable,reaching or close to 100%.Processed by papain,proteinase K and trypsin,the antibacterial rate decreased.The antibacterial activity of strain NDY-10 against Magnaporthe grisea is a kind of protein substance.3.The length of the Bacillus pumilus NDY-10 genome(including plasmid)was 3736781 bp with 41.63% GC content,3893 CDS,79 t RNA,24 r RNA and a total of 3,893 genes predicted.A total of 9 secondary metabolite synthesis gene clusters were predicted in the Bacillus pumilus NDY-10 genome,all of which were located on the chromosome.Most of their functional types were related to the synthesis of antibacterial active substances.The strain NDY-10 has a wide range of antibacterial effects.It was speculated that the antibacterial active substance of Bacillus pumilus NDY-10 against Magnaporthe grisea was Tas A protein(266 amino acids),and the antibacterial gene was tasA gene(801bp).The potential excellent biocontrol bacteria and gene resources were provided by Bacillus pumilus NDY-10.
