’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’are the first apple varieties approved by the State in Shaanxi Province.They are widely cultivated in the apple producing areas of the Loess Plateau with their excellent characteristics.However,the storage characteristics of the fruits and the fresh-keeping effect of 1-MCP are still unclear.Large-scale storage.The main issues that should be resolved are for further study.In this study,’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’apples were used as test materials.They were stored and refrigerated at room temperature respectively,and were treated with 1-MCP(0μL/L,1μL/L)cold storage at the same time.Fruit quality and physiological indicators were regularly observed during storage.Change,clarify the storage characteristics of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’and 1-MCP preservation effect,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the storage and preservation of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’apples.The main results are as follows:1.Under refrigerated conditions,the respiratory peak of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’apples appeared on the 45th day,but the ethylene peak of’Ruiyang’appeared on the 90th day,and the ethylene peak of’Ruixue’appeared on the 60th day.The peak value of ethylene in’Ruiyang’is higher than that of’Ruixue’;during storage,the skin color of’Ruiyang’gradually turns red and yellow,and mycocardia,water heart disease,and bitter pox begin to appear on the 75th day of storage;’Ruixue’gradually turns green and yellow,tiger skin disease and browning of fruit stalk began to be found after storage for 105 days;the incidence of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’at the end of storage were 10%and 13.3%,respectively.2.During storage,the hardness of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’apples decreased slowly,and the soluble solid content and titratable acid content both increased first and then decreased,and the weight loss rate changed little.When refrigerated for 120 days,the fruit hardness of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’remained at 6.2 kg.cm-2and 6.7 kg.cm-2,and the hardness of’Ruixue’was always higher than that of’Ruiyang’;The SSC of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’were12.5%??and 15.3%,and the content of TA was 0.20%and 0.23%.The titratable acid content of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’decreased by 0.16 and 0.24 percentage points respectively compared with the first day.‘Ruixue’is always higher than‘Ruiyang’;the weightlessness rates of‘Ruiyang’and‘Ruixue’only change by 1.31%and 1.22%.Under normal temperature storage,the soluble solids and titratable acids of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’began to decrease after 10 days,the respiratory peaks all appeared on 20 days,and the ethylene peaks all appeared on 50 days,and the peak value was much higher than that of refrigeration;at 60days,The weight loss rates of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’were 4.14%and 5.1%respectively.At this time,the fruit decayed seriously,the fruit surface became greasy,and the commodity value was lost.3.1-MCP treatment can significantly delay the decrease of fruit firmness and ascorbic acid content,inhibit the decrease of SSC and TA acid content,delay the fading and yellowing of the fruit epidermis,reduce the respiratory peak of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’,and delay the respiration of’Ruixue’Peak 15 days,inhibit the ethylene release rate of fruits,reduce the weight loss rate of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’fruits,reduce the occurrence of diseases of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’,and improve the storage quality of’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’.4.’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’are treated with 1-MCP,fruit peroxidase(POD),catalase(CAT),phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL),polyphenol oxidase(PPO)),β-1,3-glucanase(GLU)activity was significantly higher than that of control fruits,and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)was significantly reduced.1-MCP treatment can improve fruit disease resistance and antioxidant capacity,and prolong Fruit storage time.The sensory quality scores of the 1-MCP treatments of‘Ruiyang’and‘Ruixue’during the shelf life were better than those of the control,maintaining good commercial properties.In summary,’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’can still maintain good storage quality after being refrigerated for 120 days,and the fruits should be stored in time within 10 days after being harvested;1-MCP treatment affects’Ruiyang’and’Ruixue’fruit preservation effect is remarkable,extending the storage period and shelf life of the fruit.
