| Red claw crayfish(Cherax quadricarinatus)is one of the most valuable freshwater economic shrimps in the world.At present,the traditional mode of natural reproduction is still adopted to breed.Because of the low fecundity of the parent shrimp and the scarcity and high cost of the seedlings,red claw crayfish could not achieve its quality and yield advantages.To promote the large-scale production of crayfish seedlings,the study conducted a researches on the standardized cultivation of crayfish parent shrimps during January 2019 to March 2020 in the base of the Bureau of Fisheries of Boxing County,Shandong Province.1.Research on standardized cultivation mode of parent shrimpComparison of culture in net cage and in cement pond,after 60 days,the average rate of holding eggs in cement pond cultivation was 26.05 ± 1.17%,and the average rate of holding eggs of cage cultivation was 53.41 ± 4.19%,When the ratio of male female decreased from3:1 to 3:2,the average rate of holding eggs was 68.02 ± 8.64%.2.Study on the reproductive capacity of parent shrimpThe average egg weight ratio of female shrimp was 5.33 ± 1.06% after the first mating of the same batch of male shrimp,and the third average egg weight ratio was 4.18 ± 0.54%;The average gonad ratio of the female shrimp was 0.61 ± 0.07% after just removing the fertilized eggs,and increased to 2.39 ± 0.55% after 20 days.3.In vitro incubation of fertilized eggsThe first time of the average egg weight ratio of the same batch of female shrimps was5.84 ± 0.60%,the second was 5.65 ± 0.28%,the third was 5.76 ± 0.15%;The principle of in vitro incubation of fertilized eggs is to remove the fertilized eggs of female shrimp and incubate them in an artificially controlled incubator,the average hatchability of the first batch of brood shrimp was 79.74 ± 1.76%,respectively the second and third batch was 74.75 ±2.44%,and 76.42 ± 0.92%.In this paper,the breeding of red claw crayfish in cage,mating ability of male,gonad development of female and hatchability in vitro were studied.The results showed that the cultivation of net cage could improve the fecundity of parent shrimp,which was of great significance to contribute to the standardized and large-scale breeding of the shrimp. |
