| Cotton is mainly planted with mulch film in China,which causes film residues in the cotton during machine harvesting.Cleaning of winding type mulch film is the first processing step for removing mulch film residues in seed cotton,during which large amounts of the residual films remain on the roller of the cleaning machine,making the secondary cleaning process difficult to carry out.Furthermore,the efficiency and automation of manual cleaning are low.As a result,a cleaning device,possessing automatic operation and high efficiency,for residual mulch film in seed cotton needs to be proposed inevitably.In this study,the cleaning device was designed and the experimental research was performed as follows:(1)Referring to the existing technical constrains of the cleaning machine for residual mulch film in seed cotton,combined with the laser cutting technology,the research aims and research proposal of laser cutting cleaning for residual mulching film were determined in this study.In addition,the material characteristics of residual mulch film and seed cotton,and the cutting characteristics of CO2 laser were analyzed.The laser cutting device for residual mulch was designed in the further.(2)Based on the results of the feasibility analysis and the overall research proposal,the key components of the cleaning device for winding type of residual mulch film in seed cotton was designed.The device was consisted of three parts:the winding mechanism,the laser cutting mechanism,and the double channel switching mechanism.The main components of each mechanism were screened,designed and computed,and the laser cutting device was set up as well.The control system was built according to the expected working path of the device.The microcontroller was used to carry on the overall motion control.The control program was written using the Keil software.The working circuit diagram of the device was drawn and simulated applying Proteus software.The modified and perfected program was entered into the microcontroller through STC-ISP software to debug the device system.(3)According to the characteristics of laser cutting technology and the results of pre-tests,the main influencing factors of laser cutting were determined,including laser power,cutting speed,and cutting distance.The mathematical model of cutting depth was established to predict the cutting depth.The cutting depth and the counts of cuts required to cut 50 mm of residual film were chosen as the response factors.And on this basis,a three-factor and five-level orthogonal experiment was devised through Design-Expert software.The regression model was obtained based on the test results.The influence of the trial factors on the response factors were analyzed through the response surface methodology and the experiment parameters were optimized.The results showed that the parameter that has the greatest influence on the two response factors was laser power,followed by cutting speed,and finally cutting distance.The parameters were optimized as,laser power was 66.4W,cutting speed was 20.6mm/s,and cutting distance was 95.1mm,respectively.(4)The regression model and the prediction model of cutting depth were compared with each other,the causes of the errors were analyzed,and the prediction model was revised accordingly.The research results showed that the CO2 laser equipped in the seed cotton cleaning machine had a good cutting and cleaning effect on the winding type of residual mulch film,under the appropriate parameter conditions. |
