| Pigeon salmonellosis is the main bacterial disease in pigeon breeding and production,which can spread horizontally and vertically.At the same time,due to the facultative intracellular parasitism of Salmonella,it is difficult to purify the disease once it occurs,causing serious economic losses to the pigeon industry.The emergence of antibiotics has made it the most effective weapon against pathogens.It has been widely used and even abused.The problems of bacterial drug resistance are becoming more and more serious.The emergence of multi drug resistant strains and even"superbacteria"has become a great threat all over the world.Seeking green and effective antibiotic substitutes has become the goal of scientific researchers.The research on lactic acid bacteria has been widely recognized in the industry,and the trace element zinc has also achieved certain results in the prevention and control of epidemic diseases.However,the pharmacological addition of zinc is high,and high-dose addition can lead to environmental pollution and increased bacterial resistance to it.Studies have shown that the combined effect of zinc and probiotics can not only improve the prevention and control of animal bacterial diseases,but also reduce the addition of zinc.However,there is no research report on pigeon salmonellosis.This study mainly discusses the effect of zinc combined with Lactobacillus on pigeon salmonellosis.The main contents are as follows:Experiment 1 was to study the effects of dietary zinc on growth performance,immunity and antioxidant indexes of squabs.120 pairs of Silver Feather King parental breeding pigeons were randomly divided into 5 groups,8 repetitions in each group,3pairs of breeding pigeons in each repetition,and 2 squabs were fed to each pair of breeding pigeons.The five groups of breeding pigeons were fed the basic diet without zinc and the experimental diet with 30,60,90 and 120 mg/kg zinc in the basic diet,respectively.The experimental period was 46 days.The results showed that the dietary addition of 90 mg/kg zinc could significantly increase the average daily gain of squabs from 1 to 28 days old.The addition of 60 and 90 mg/kg zinc could improve the immune function of squabs,and the 60 mg/kg zinc level group had better effect on the immune and antioxidant function of squabs.In experiment 2,in order to explore the prevention and control effect of zinc and Lactobacillus on Salmonella infection in child pigeons.120 child pigeons were randomly divided into 5 groups according to their weight,with 6 replicates in each group and 4 child pigeons in each replicate.They were negative control group(group A),positive control group(group B),S0028 Lactobacillus group(Group C),S0034Lactobacillus group(Group D)and zinc sulfate group(Group E).Groups A and B were fed with 1mL PBS every day,and groups C and D were fed with 1 mL of Lactobacillus S0028 and Lactobacillus S0034 respectively every day(2×10~9 CFU/mL),group E was fed with 1 mL zinc sulfate solution(1 mg/mL)every day until the end of the test.On the7th day of the experiment,the challenge model of Salmonella Typhimurium was established.Group A was fed with 1 mL PBS as the control,and the other groups were fed with 1 m L Salmonella Typhimurium suspension(1×10~9 CFU/mL).The results showed that among the two strains of pigeons derived Lactobacillus,Lactobacillus S0034 showed good control effect;Lactobacillus S0034 or zinc can improve the intestinal morphology,improve the immune function and improve the adverse effect of Salmonella Typhimurium on the infection of child pigeons.The third experiment was to study the control effect of zinc combined with Lactobacillus on Salmonella infected squab.90 healthy 10 days old White Feather King pigeons were randomly divided into 6 groups,with 18 pigeons in each group.They were negative control group(group A),positive control group(group B),zinc sulfate group(Group C),Lactobacillus S0034 group(Group D)and zinc combined Lactobacillus group(Group E).Group A and group B were fed with 1 mL PBS+1 mL deionized water every day,and groups C,D and E were fed with 1 m L zinc sulfate solution(1 mg/mL)+1 mL PBS,1 mL Lactobacillus S0034(2×10~9 CFU/mL)+1 mL deionized water,1 m L Lactobacillus S0034(2×10~9 CFU/mL)+1 m L zinc sulfate solution(0.5 mg/mL)every day until the end of the test.On the fifth day of the experiment,the challenge model of Salmonella Typhimurium was established.Group A was fed with 1 m L PBS as the control,and the other groups were fed with 1 m L Salmonella Typhimurium suspension(1×10~9 CFU/mL)for 3 consecutive days.The results showed that zinc combined with Lactobacillus had better antibacterial and probiotic effects than zinc or Lactobacillus alone,and the combination of Lactobacillus reduced the amount of zinc. |
