Objective:Describe the distribution characteristics of people with diabetes and other diseases and hospitalization costs,identify the degree of association between diabetes and other diseases,in order to identify their high-risk population,for the development of secondary diabetes prevention to determine the target population,for diabetes management to provide data support,help to better develop the third-level prevention of diabetes,provide targeted measures to improve the quality of life,extend life.Methods:A multi-stage stratified sampling method was used to conduct a large-scale crosssectional survey of 20 general hospitals in Jilin Province,and a total of 155,178 diabetic samples were obtained.Measurement variables include socio-demographic indicators(gender,age,type of insurance),disease name and ICD,and hospitalization expenses.SPSS 24.0 was used to establish and organize a database to describe the sociodemographic characteristics and costs of patients with diabetes and comorbidities,and use association rules to mine and evaluate common disease patterns.Results:1.A total of 155,178 diabetics were surveyed in this study,of whom 139,159(89.68%)were diabetics and other diseases,while men(59.9.6)were diabetics and other diseases accounted for more than women(40.99%),45-84 years of age as high as 90.65 percent of middle-aged and elderly people,the largest number of urban workers insured type(58.02%).The proportion of hypertension was highest among co-diseases(30.98%),followed by cerebrovascular disease(25.58%)and hyperlipidemia(22.78%).2.The average hospitalization costs for women and the cost of drugs were RMB10,921.25 and RMB3,858.26 respectively,while the cost of hospitalization for men was RMB10,309.30 and RMB4,418.19,respectively.The proportion of total hospitalization costs for patients aged 45 to 64 was the highest at 47.26%,while the average hospitalization costs and the cost of second-time medicines were the highest for patients aged 85 and over,at RMB12,654.59 and RMB5449.27,respectively.The proportion of total hospitalization costs for urban workers with the type of insurance coverage was 55.47 percent.3.Based on the analysis results of the association rules of the Aprior algorithm,the patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes at the same time were 27.67 percent,followed by hospitalization costs and secondary drug costs of RMB 11517.79 and RMB4458.97,respectively.Among them,the average cost of drugs for men was RMB4755.38,for women it was RMB 4073.53,with age,the average hospitalization cost increased,and the average hospitalization cost for patients over 85 years of age was RMB 13309.32.Conclusion:Jilin Province has a high proportion of patients with diabetes and other diseases,a total of other diseases ranked in the top three for hypertension,cerebrovascular disease and hyperlipidemia.Common disease combinations are hypertension-type II diabetes,and analyzing the combination of common diseases with different socio demography characteristics and hospitalization costs can provide data support for priority strategies for diabetics management.
