| Objective:By detecting the expression level of miRNA-126 in plasma of patients with lupus nephritis(LN),to analyze the correlation between miRNA-126 and clinical laboratory indexes,and explore its clinical significance in LN.Methods:53 patients with lupus nephritis(LN)in the department of Nephrology,Rheumatology and Dermatology of affiliated hospital of north sichuan medical college from January 2019 to August 2020 were selected as the LN group,inaddition,another 30 age and gender matched healthy people were selected as healthy control group.The LN group was divided into the LN stable group(SLEDAI-2K ≤9,20 cases)and LN active group(SLEDAI-2K>9,33 cases)according to systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity score(SLEDAI-2K).The expression level of plasma miRNA-126 were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR),and analyzed the correlation between the level of plasma miRNA-126 and clinical indexes.Results:1.The expression level of miRNA-126 in LN stable group was higher than that in healthy control group(P<0.01).The expression level of miRNA-126 in LN active group was higher than that in healthy control group(P<0.01).The expression level of miRNA-126 in LN active group was higher than that in LN stable group(P<0.05).2.The expression level of miRNA-126 in LN patients was positively correlated withanti-dsDNA antibody,SLEDAI-2K score and ESR(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with complement C3 and complement C4(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between the level of miRNA-126 and serum CysC,Scr,BUN,24-hour urine protein,red blood cell count,white blood cell count and platelet count.3.The area under the ROC curve of LN disease activity in plasma miRNA-126 was 0.711,and the recognition efficiency was moderate.calculation of Youden index was 0.496,with sensitivity of 54.5%and specificity of 94.7%(95%CI:0.547-0.834).Conclusion:1.The expression level of plasma miRNA-126 in patients with LN is higher than that in healthy controls,suggesting which may be involved in the occurrence and development of LN.2.The expression level of plasma miRNA-126 may be helpful to reflect the disease activity of LN. |
