Research On Health Output Effect Of Government Health Expenditure

With the continuous development of economy and society,health has become a topic of common concern.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the medical and health services were undergoing continuous reforms,and the people’s health continued to improve.However,there was still a problem of irrational allocation of medical and health resources,and as the proportion of government health expenditures gradually declined,personal health expenditures continued to rise.In the current situation,the problems in the medical and health field are gradually emerging.The introduction of the new medical reform has increased government health expenditures,effectively reduced the medical burden of the people,and effectively alleviated the problems in the medical and health field,such as difficulty in seeing a doctor and high costs.Although the introduction of a series of policies has continued to improve the health of the people of our country,there are still certain differences in the health level of various regions and between urban and rural areas.We need to pay attention to it and how government health expenditure can be invested.The greatest benefits of health are also issues that we need to think about and research.There are not many such studies in academia,especially the use of panel data for detailed analysis is rare.Based on the Grossman theoretical model,this paper constructs a health function,uses provincial panel data from 2010 to 2017,and uses two indicators of maternal mortality and infectious disease incidence to measure the health of the people,not only from the national level,but also from the regional level.Carry out empirical analysis,study the impact of government health expenditure on people’s health and the differences in different regions,and in-depth analysis of existing problems,explore their deep-seated reasons,and put forward effective countermeasures.The research in this article provides directions for the future government medical reform and the formulation of related policies.It will not only help improve the efficiency of government health expenditures in the future,but also further narrow the gap in health levels between regions.The innovation of this paper is to use multiple indicators as health indicators,and select multiple control variables according to national conditions,including economic level,education level,urbanization level,medical and health resources,personal health expenditure,environmental level,and rural health level.Etc.,through empirical analysis and qualitative and quantitative dual analysis methods,to study the impact of government health expenditures on people’s health,and this article analyzes not only from the national level,but also from the regional level,dividing the country into eastern regions and central and western regions.Regions,to explore the impact of government health expenditures on the health of people in various regions,making the research more comprehensive and accurate.Finally,the research results of this article show that increasing government health expenditures will improve the health of our people,but the development of China’s medical and health fields still has the following problems: there are regional differences in health levels,and the efficiency of medical resource allocation needs to be further improved.There are still some shortcomings in the scale of government health expenditures,and the government’s supervision and evaluation mechanism needs to be improved.Based on these problems,based on the analysis results and the knowledge learned,some targeted countermeasures and suggestions are proposed:implementation of differentiated transfer payments,Improve the efficiency of the allocation of medical and health resources,narrow the gap in regional development,improve the level of environmental governance,and improve the aging of the population,so as to further optimize the scale and structure of government health expenditures and improve the health of our people.
