Study On The Sinicization And Reliability And Validity Of Instrument Of Health Literacy Competencies Of Medical Staff

Research Purpose:1.This research introduces the Instrument Of Health Literacy Competencies(IOHLC)specially developed for medical personnel by Taiwan scholar Li-Chun Chang.According to the cultural habits and medical background Of China’s mainland,IOHLC is translated,translated,and adjusted cross-cultural to form Chinese version Of IOHLC.2.To evaluate the psychological indicators and their reliability and validity of the Chinese version of IOHLC scale,and to understand the accuracy and validity of the scale.Research Method:1.Firstly,the developer of the scale,Li Chun Chang,was contacted to obtain his consent and authorization.The Chinese version of the IOHLC scale,which is in line with the medical background in China’s mainland,will be translated into Chinese strictly by means of the scale translation procedure,so as to form the Chinese version of the IOHLC scale for formal investigation.2.The random cluster sampling method was adopted.First,Huzhou City of Zhejiang Province was selected as the research base;Second,choose the method of random Numbers table in the base were randomly cluster sampled from August 2020 to November 2020 randomly selected community hospital,secondary hospital and tertiary hospital hospital,discharge standard of medical staff,survey tools mainly adopts Chinese IOHLC scale of health literacy competency profile of medical personnel questionnaire research.3.Reliability and validity test of Chinese version of IOHLC scale:In this study,retest reliability and Cronbach’sαcoefficient were used to verify the reliability of the scale.Content validity and structure validity were used to verify the validity of the scale.Research Results:1.The total Cronbach’sαcoefficient of the Chinese version of the IOHLC scale was calculated to be 0.957,and the value range of Cronbach’sαcoefficient of each dimension was0.768～0.940.The overall retest reliability of the Chinese version of IOHLC scale was calculated to be 0.973,and the overall retest reliability of the Chinese version of IOHLC scale was between0.880 and 0.983 in each dimension.The overall content validity index of the Chinese version of the IOHLC scale is 0.96,and the content validity index values of each item are all greater than 0.8.2.The results of exploratory factor analysis show that the mean negative load on all corresponding common factors of each item in the scale is greater than 0.4.Constructive factor analysis is mainly designed and carried out according to the research results and methods of exploratory factor analysis,and the indicators of factor model fitting shown in the results of confirmatory factor analysis have reached an ideal level.Fit index values:χ~2/df=1.379,RMSEA=0.036,RMR=0.011,GFI=0.837,CFI=0.915,IFI=0.917,TLI=0.905.3.The Chinese version of the IOHLC scale has 7 dimensions:(1)knowledge domain(9items);(2)Checking for understanding(5 items);(3)Interdisciplinary cooperation to design health education plan for patients with low health literacy(4 items);(4)Designing practical teaching materials for service objects(7 items);(5)Test the understanding degree of service objects(5items);(6)To create a friendly teaching environment for low health literacy service objects in multiple ways(15 items);(7)Building a friendly environment(4 items).Research Conclusion:Chinese IOHLC scale,good reliability and validity of the scale content can well reflect the medical staff itself on health literacy level and whether or not to use their own knowledge reserves knowledge to evaluate patients’health literacy ability,provide health education adjust measures to local conditions,comprehensive inventory items,medical personnel to assess health literacy competency condition,can be used as the specificity of the medical personnel health literacy competency assessment tools.
