Experimental Research Of Anserine And Glucosamine Against Inflammatory Reaction In Rats With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:To explore the effect of anserine and glucosamine on the inflammatory response of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)rats,to provide new options for clinical treatment of RA.Method:The experimental rats were randomly divided into 5 groups,they are the normal control group,the RA control group,the anserine group,the glucosamine group,and the combined group(anserine combined with glucosamine).The normal control rats fed normally,and the RA control group,the anserine group,the glucosamine group and the combination group all were induced the establishment of RA rat models by adjuvant.After that,rats in the RA control group were fed normally.Rats in the anserine group were given 1mg/kg anserine by gavage,and rats in the glucosamine group were given 200 mg/kg glucosamine by gavage,while rats in the combination group were given by the same method with 1mg/kg anserine plus 200 mg/kg glucosamine.Duration 45 days,the biochemical indicators related to the inflammatory response of rheumatoid arthritis in the serum of each group of rats were measured,for the levels of serum superoxide dismutase(SOD),lipid peroxidation,uric acid,nitric oxide,prostaglandin E＿2(PGE＿2),matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-3,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,IL-1β,and IL-6.In addition,At the same time,we had measured the protein expression of Nuclear Factor kappa-B(NF-κB)and Inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase(i NOS)in the synovial tissue of each group of rats.Result:In the serum of rats,the levels of SOD in the anserine group,glucosamine group and combination group was higher than rats in the RA control group.But the levels of uric acid,nitric oxide,PGE＿2,MMP-3,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in the serum of rats in the other group decreased.In addition,compared to the RA control rats,the protein expression of NF-κB and i NOS in the synovial tissue of the anserine group,the glucosamine group and the combination group also decreased.However,the changes in the above analysis indexes of the anserine group and the glucosamine group were not as significant as the combination group.Conclusion:Anserine combined with glucosamine can attenuates the inflammatory response of rheumatoid arthritis rats and has a synergistic therapeutic effect.
