Rotator cuff tear is a common injury of shoulder joint, which is an important cause of shoulder pain and mobility disorder.Arthroscopic rotator cuff bridge suture,as a newly developed rotator cuff repair in recent years, has the advantages of faster recovery, less trauma and uniform distribution of suture tension.Although arthroscopic rotator cuff suture and bridge suture for rotator cuff tear can significantly improve the clinical outcome of patients, there are still some patients with severe postoperative pain.Postoperative pain affects patients’ recovery,long-term efficacy, postoperative life, and even delays hospital discharge or readmission. Therefore,to find the influencing factors of pain in patients after arthroscopic rotator cuff bridge suture can improve the work efficiency of medical workers, reduce medical costs, provide tailored and more reasonable consultation suggestions for patients, reduce the contradiction between doctors and patients, and improve the quality of medical services. Objective:To analyze the factors associated with pain after arthroscopic rotator cuff bridge suture. Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the data of patients with unilateral rotator cuff injury who received arthroscopic bridge suture in our department from February 2019 to September 2020 were collected. These included age, gender, course of disease, smoking history, whether patients were complicated with diabetes, preoperative UCLA score,Constant score,NRS score, and intraoperative tear size, whether it was full-thickness tear, and the degree of tendon retraction of PATTE,etc. The pain status(NRS score)at 3months after surgery was investigated in the form of telephone follow-up.In this study,SPSS23.0 was used to input data and conduct statistical analysis.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the above influencing factors and postoperative pain. Results:A total of 112 patients were included in this study for statistical analysis, and the results were obtained through multiple linear regression analysis.Preoperative NRS score, preoperative UCLA score, tear size, smoking history were the factors that affected postoperative pain, while the duration of disease, preoperative Constant score,full-thickness tear, muscle contracture, gender,BMI,history of alcohol consumption, diabetes mellitus and hypertension were not correlated with postoperative pain at 3 months. Conclusion:The causes of pain after arthroscopic rotator cuff bridge suture were complex and varied. The correlation order of influencing factors from strong to weak was: preoperative NRS score, preoperative UCLA score, tear size, smoking history; The duration of disease, preoperative Constant score,full-thickness tear, muscle contracture, gender,BMI,history of alcohol consumption, diabetes mellitus and hypertension were not associated with pain at 3 months after surgery.
